I know we are over reacting  :) I think the reason why we are is because all of the nintendo handheld systems before this have been under $150. it just seems like a huge jump to $250.

But I do agree with you, the amount of tech they have in this thing for the price it's at is amazing!

If you expected to get it for less than $200 after it was unveiled, you were being unrealistic. I knew from the moment they unveiled it that it would be at least $250.

You have a perfectly legit point. But, Nintendo has never charged more than $200 for their devices, so I guess that I kind of crossed my fingers and hoped for a $200 device. I'm not surprised, just perhaps a bit dissapointed.

Imma be mowing lotsa lawns this summer, I guess.

DSi XL was $200.

Went to Gamestop to get a $20 game card and noticed that myself on the printout they had, put some money down on a reserve for it.

So that gives me about five months to find a job so I can play this game on release day. Sounds like a plan.

i'm asking about the release date for starfox, actually.

People suggest preordering the 3ds coz there's an incredibly limited supply for that console.

It really depends on when starfox is going to be released for me

Changed the video. This one's better. (Warning, some shots from horror movies. But it's mostly fine, no gore, just a little blood. There's actually several StarFox shots around 1:32)

Hopefully they just used that as a placeholder, or they were lazy and went with an old model for the 3DS reveal trailer, because that Fox sure doesn't look like the version of Fox they showed in the dialogue box on the touchscreen in more recent videos/pictures :P

It's a low-res, fuzzy, image with a slight noise filter (or it could be JEPG compression noise) on it. Hold your judgments until we see more.

heh take it easy. The latest videos and screenshots suggested that we get to see slightly upgraded 64 styled characters.

This is undoubtedly early promo footage. The focus of that segment in that video was the ARWING, not fox.
