Starwing_93
To all interested there is a full SF64 trailer on Nintendo's E3 site now Took me a little while to find as the site is quite bugged in fact it won't work at all in Firefox, but I can access it OK with Chrome and of course there are trailers for all the other new games too. Star Fox 64 3D Trailer Looks awesome, some levels seem to have had more of a graphical upgrade than others, and whilst reasonably responsive looking I imagine the tilt controls will only work well when the 3D is off (anybody who has played face raiders will know ). Best thing to note though is the voices, either they've got the same Voice Actorss back or have got in impersenators, as both Pepper and Fox sound dead on. Peppy... not so much, but its only a small gripe and will probaby tun out OK overall after all, its not Peppy's VA fro Brawl so thats certainly a relief

Rik McCloud
I'm sorry but I got to 1:08 in the trailer before I had to turn it off. That stupid phrase helps to kill Star Fox for me. My interest in this series is waning to the point of non-existence. I don't mind SF64 but cannot stand the constant cries of fans to have yet another title just like it. I loved Adventures. Assault was OK but had a lot of flaws. Command was better but for the weird endings. If Nintendo charge £20-30 for it when it's new, I am definitely not buying a remake of a remake. SF64 really brought StarFox to prominence, and Assault saved the series as it was dying, after Adventures. Because I didn't think the series was dying because of Adventures. I wasn't pinning the blame on one character like some people were here. If anything, it was expanding the Star Fox universe and giving us something a bit different which I enjoyed. I understand it was never designed as a Star Fox game to start off with but I seriously do not think it damaged the franchise. Just because I have a different opinion doesn't mean I shouldn't be here. I have a right to express my thoughts and I feel I explained myself enough to justify it. It's not like it even matters anyway. The fan base has what they want now so go and enjoy it. I wanted something new and original. Having enjoyed the last three games, I thought there was room to build on them. Instead it is as I feared. Nintendo has and always will treat the series as a tech demo to show off their latest console. The reason there never was a Star Fox title for Wii was because they didn't need it. They took the easy way out with SF64 3D and that is why I an disappointed. Just slap some fancy graphics on it, add a few things to the multiplayer, tilt controls and boom, instant seller. It makes sense to do it from a business point of view but it does nothing to advance the series. That, in my opinion, is where the series is going wrong. I know you won't like that opinion but it's my own so don't take it too personally.

Look, sorry if I offended you, I was just disappointed by Adventures. That doesn't mean that you're not entitled to an opinion.

The reason I was here was because I was doing what we all want to do and that is to express how we feel about something. It is a forum after all and people aren't always going to agree about certain things. One man's garbage is another man's gold.
DZComposer
So, the release date is September 11, 2011. Keep it classy, Nintendo. I swear, looking forward to this particular date makes me feel like a horrible person. I bet that's why they quietly published that date instead of Reggie telling us during the conference. Reggie: Soaring and banking in REAL 3D arrives in US stores on September 11, 2011! Crowd: *awkward silence* Reggie: On a more upbeat note, the trailer is available for download on the 3DS eShop in all of it's 3D glory! Even if you've already seen the trailer, download it. The 3D is awesome. Also, best Slippy comm image in the entire series. Well done.

Starwing_93
So let's get this straight, a game in which the opening mission consists of low level flying through skyscrapers whilst blowing stuff up is released on September 11th... Great foresight there guys! Either someone at Nintendo has a brilliantly twisted sense of humour, or they're completely oblivious, but thi surely can't have been intentional? I'm not Americsn so don't fully know how sensitive it still us to you guys, but on the 10th anniversary is just mind blowingly poor planning. If this is an intentional PR stunt to drum up publicity, please reconsider Nintendo. I love the Star Fox franchise and I don't want it to go down as the game that made light of the darkest day in US history
