Owner/Technical Admin Sideways Posted June 17, 2010 Owner/Technical Admin Share Posted June 17, 2010 I've never been a big handheld fan, but OOT looks like fun.. I might buy one considering I don't have a DS at all.. The only portables I have are a PSP and GBC...

Four-eyed Vulpine
I was skeptical about getting the Nintendo 3DS to begin with.I'm happy with my original blue DS, and it still works,so I couldn't justify shelling out another $200 for a handheld that plays most of the same games. But now that they're putting those remakes on the table, I might have to reconsider.I just shelled out about $400 for a 64 GB iPod Touch,so I think I'll just wait for a price cut on the 3DS.I want to keep my budget intact and I still have to buy books for next semester (another $400). Tiberius
To tell you the truth, I've never played Ocarania of Time. This is definately something I would look for.

sniper
This was probably my favorite game when I was little. Definitely gonna get a 3ds when it comes out just for SF64, Mario kart, and, of course, Ocarina
Falcory
I hope they add something like Multi-player to this one. Being able to play as Sheik or Ganondorf in a multi-player mode would kick some serious ass.And as a bonus maybe as a sub-SUB boss, you could fight Ganondorf with his beastly sword from Space World 2000 Demo and Super Smash Melee. That would be nice to see. :)

DoctorAllosaurus
I am... not much of a fan of OoT. I just found it too slow paced for my tastes, I mean sure it was an okay game (I will admit the well is one of the coolest places I've been in a video game) but LttP was a hell of alot better in every aspect. It's nice that its getting a remake for those who've been waiting for one though.

It had a bigger Hyrule and the same basic flow as OoT... just with a hell of alot more enemies on the overworld.

Zelda doesn't seem like the kind of game where a full battle multiplayer would work correctly. Then again, seeing how it hasn't been done yet, I might be wrong! DoctorAllosaurus
LttP WASN'T slow paced? It had a bigger Hyrule and the same basic flow as OoT... just with a hell of alot more enemies on the overworld. In my experiences, it was a well paced game. It gave you speedy boots for dashing early on in the game, a mirror for traveling back to the light world, and you didn't have to memorize songs to warp to places that you've been before. On top of that, the dungeon design (I love dungeons so this one is a biggie for me) was top notch.OoT on the other hand gave me a horse half-way through the game, made me go all the way back to hyrule town to change time, and made me memorize several different songs to warp somewhere. The dungeons were okay, but not as fun as LttP's dungeons. Don't even get me started on the bland Hyrule Field with it's Peahats you'll never fight and the Same old Stalchilds that rise from their grave at night.I've got weird taste in games anyways (I'm one of the few people who hold Zelda II in high regard so...), I just prefer old over new. Well, and for Spirit Temple. And you got a warp song to quickly take you to the temple of time. The horse may have came later than the pegasus boots but was every bit as useful. The songs having to be memorized isn't really a big deal (other Zeldas have made you memorize other things), but Hyrule field was bland. I found its Dungeon design to be very good too (at least as equal to LttP in some ways, though LttP had a much superior Ganon's Castle). And I like Zelda II as well, so take that as you will.
