"I don't know Krystal, we'll just have to make haste!"

Fox sped up then landed in the hatch of the Greatfox, Krystal followed shortly.

"Okay, I'll set the coordinates to Corneria!"

He ran to the control room and punched in the coordinates in the control panel and the Greatfox headed toward Corneria.

Tt was going to take time until they got to Corneria.

"Huh... I wonder what the rest of the guys are doing. ROB, where's everyone at?"

ROB turns his body around and look at Fox.

"They've disappeared Fox, locations unknown."

Fox looked worried at Krystal.

"We alone in this one, we have to find the general ASAP."

"I have no idea... Hopefully we can. Maybe we can contact the rest of the team now."

*Fox walks over to Krystal*

"That's a good idea!"

He waits for her reaction and thinks to himself.

"Dang, I hope they're all okay... Krystal should be able to tell though."

(Okay, going to pick up a bit beyond where i left off when this thread died. I can hardly remember what i had planned next, but i've got a "rough" idea... I think. >_< BTW, my RP typing has changed from script to story format, mostly due to the fanfic i'm writing (prologue and chaper one of the first book are nearly done, i've got 3 "books" outlined.))

*In his X-wing, Jod streaks up into orbit from Fichina*

That had been a close one... The last thing Jod had expected had been a cloaked aparoid. The one thing that gave it away had been the shimmer its cloaking field gave off, and that he'd been able to sense it. Just barrely.

Well, at least I CAN sense these Aparoids. Unlike... aw, spast, I can't go thinking about that right now, the last thing I need is to be homesick.

Jod hadn't ever told the rest of his team-mates the full truth about his history. He could hardly belive some of it himself, it all felt like it'd just been a dream now...

Or to be more exact, it'd been a nightmare.

But the past was the past. If he didn't focus on things here and now, he'd soon be unable to worry about anything at all. Five aparoid fighters were closing fast, and while the T-65 he was flying was more than a match, it just didn't have the agility or endurance of a XJ or VK modle X-wing.

"Gold, get me a lock on the centermost bug." he said, "and arm one of the remaining torpedos to fire back towards that target."

A flurry of beeps confirmed his command. Jod watched his Heads-Up Display, or HUD, display a computer representation of the Aparoids. The centermost fighter started flashing yellow, then, as his R2 unit, Gold, gave him a steady lock-on tone, red.

Jod pulled the trigger, and an orange blip appeared on his radar, flashing out first ahead, then looping around behind his fighter torwards the Aparoids. Moments later, it hit, tearing less than half a meter into the bug before it detonated, vaporizing it instantly. The rapidly expanding cloud of energy and flame engulfed the remaining aparoids, and four subsequent detonations inside the cloud confirmed their deaths.

Jod let out a breath he'd been holding. He'd gotten lucky, all it would have taken is for the aparoids to spread out, and he'd have wasted a torpedo to vape one, instead of knocking them all out. But that trick wouldn't work a second time. Additional fighters were closing in fast, and in a much looser formation than that first group.

Thankfully, he didn't have to out-fight them, just out-run them.

Lasers hissed through space around his fighter as he dodged and weaved his fighter, trying to stay one step ahead of the Aparoids fire. All he had to rely on was his sensors and his instincts. He may as well have no connection to the Force at all, with these Aparoids in close proximity, unless he wanted a repeat of what had nearly happened earlier.

Blast, this is worse than fighting the Vong! He nearly slapped himself for that though. Dang it, why did i have to remember that now!

Then a beeping emitted from his console, and Jod realized his craft was ready to initiate a Hyperspace Jump. Or to be more exact, a micro-jump, his ships Hyperdrive was too powerful for a full jump in system, unless he wanted to blast from the Lylat system to someplace else. Without sparing another moment, Jod engaged his Hyperdirve, and left Fichina and the Aparoids far behind him...

(More later, right now, i'm out of Ideas for the moment.)
