I've played them since Starfox N64 came out, or lylat wars, and I've played them ever since. Though N64 was hardcore back in the day, where I played it nonstop, now it's in my drawer waiting for my N64 waiting for my N64 to be hooked up. And the most SF I've played since then is Adventures, Assault... just doesn't call to me as bad.

Such a silly question. We wouldn't be here if we weren't going to be playing it for at least a very long time. I put forever.

The GC games bore me now since I played them to death, and if I had my N64 back I would play SF64 to death again.

They need to make this franchise more well known. =/

Until they stop making them. That, or 'till I die, providing I don't grow out of video-games. I certainly hope I never do....

Im gonna play 'em as long as they keep coming. SF64 was where I entered the series, got it a month after it was out, and I still play that game. So after I get bored of the new games, its back to the classics.

Ha I agree, but nintendo is going to make better and better games so one day in 64 years(get it)it will become oblelete the new tvs might not handle its age an data chips. In other words the n64 will get old in 64 years i bet.

Honestly, for the rest of my life.

Even if the game series dies off completely, and nearly everyone forgets what it is, I will be that person who still plays the games (even though they would be classified as "dinosaur" games by then) and walks into work wearing a jacket that says "Star Fox Super Weekend" on it, and the like....

That doesn't make you sound like a dork, it just tell me you're an extremely devoted fan.

I really don't think Star Fox has too much "life" left in it...which is saddening, seeing as one of the greatest Nintendo franchises (and my favorite game/game series) will just be pushed to the side...

What I would like to know, is how many of us will actually keep that vow? I have doubts...(no offense to anyone).

I wasn't pointing any fingers at anyone in particular, but rather everyone who makes the claim that they will play it for life...No doubt most will break their vow...and I can completely understand...life can change rapdily, and things can come up. Either way, I too have loved Star Fox from the minute I found out about it, and I will deeply strive to remain a staunch Star Fox loyalist, player, and supporter my whole life.

I discovered Star Fox when I was 9; when Star Fox 64 came out. It's a shame I didn't know about the original Star Fox (I was 5 when it came out)....I would have fell in love with it instantly....Oh, well, I didn't have a SNES then anyway.
