Bahhhh it's been nothing but cloudy/rainy this whole summer so far.  Today was finally the first sunny day we've had.

Today in the middle of nowhere directly south of Paducah Kentucky it was a somewhat cooler day then the usual low 30's C (at least 86 F for you Americans who haven't switched to metric yet :P ) It wasn't as humid either and I am thankful for that :)

Tomorrow I start my return road trip back to Canada where the weather isn't over 9000 degrees  :D

And we're also under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the next six hours.

Maybe I can have a few photo opportunities this afternoon.

Well, they all missed us, of course.  Better luck next time, hopefully.

In other news, the highs for this weekend and next week keep going up.

Saturday through Thursday highs:  96 97 97 97 96 96 F

(at least 86 F for you Americans who haven't switched to metric yet :P )

*converts to Celcius just for TSA*  Smirk-2.gif  36 36 36 36 36 36 C.

I can't wait for winter to get here.  Summer hasn't even officially started yet.  Sad-2.gif

Is anybody else having to deal with the crazy heat in the southern United States this weekend?

Heat indices are staying above 100 for most of each day.

Heck, Monday's *actual* temperature for where I live in West Tennessee will be 100.

It's a nice 25 C (77 F) right now back in Toronto :P

Lucky

Here it's 95 F, humid, with some bad storms coming through every so often.

Missouri has the craziest weather.

Very hot, luckily it's a dry heat. Humidity is the devil. I'm cold-blooded and have a high tolerance for heat since I get cold so easily, so the summer heat here doesn't bug me like it does everybody else.

88 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, no humidity. Typical for a desert climate :D

Sometimes our weather is unpredictable. It rains without warning, sometimes the wind picks up to where tree branches get blown off, and other things like that. A desert is something to get used to. I prefer it to the central United States (where I grew up). It gets humid there, and you can't escape the heat. At least in a desert, it is dry and you CAN escape the heat :D

The desert blows. The only thing it has going for it is the dryness. Otherwise, the weather is VERY unpredictable, and winters are surprisingly damn cold.
