It rained whilst completely sunny outside, just some scattered clouds.

SoDak is the worst place for weather, when its 9/12 months a year snowy or bitter cold, then its usually blaring hot or rainy outside.

And I don't even have AC... :O

Know what I hate about my weather.

It rains five minutes after I do my paper route.

It's hot as boiling balls here with thunderstorms on and off.  Weather where I'm at is weird:  If there's a storm coming our way, then it goes around us.  A common reaction:  WHAT THE F***?!?

The temperature has finally gone down here, and we're looking at mid 80's for highs this week with minimal chances of rain.

If only it would stay like this.

I don't have to drive home from work through and/or around pop-up thunderstorms in the afternoon today!  Yay!

Some morning on the way to work I should bring along my camera so I can park on the shoulder and take some pictures of the sunrise.  It really is beautiful, especially if there are a few clouds around to reflect the sun before it rises.

I'm sitting in the library right now, watching it rain outside.

I hate driving in the rain, especially when it's dark and/or lightning is involved.

At least it looks like it's dissipating a bit.

It's been hot like hell here in Georgia lately. It's been in the late 90's for 3 weeks and it's supposed to be 101 tomorrow.

Is anyone here having to put up with those triple-digit temperatures in the Northeast lately?

102 degrees F is hot for West Tennessee, let alone Washington D.C. and Philadelphia.

I remember a trip I took to Hawaii a few years ago.  The weather was nice, yet so strange...

The wind seemed to blow at about 20 MPH all the time, 24/7.  The temperature stayed between 75 and 80 degrees F.

And there was ALWAYS a line of cumulus clouds hugging the interior mountains of Oahu (we stayed in Honolulu), as if a front had permanently stalled on top of them.

Also, when we took a trip one day to the windward side of Oahu (north of the interior mountains), it was sunny on the south side before we entered the tunnel through the mountain, and it was completely overcast on the north side upon exiting the tunnel.

Being a meteorology/geography major in college, I understand these weather phenomena, but it was still strange to experience them for the first time.
