CrypticQuery
My first experience was seeing one of my cousins play StarFox 64 on his new N64. I thought it was pretty cool, although soon, I forgot about it. I don't know what jogged my memory again, I think it may have been accidentally stumbling upon the SF64 voiceover section here at SF-O, but I was addicted when I started playing again, and have now played all on original hardware, except for the first one. Then, I found out everything I could, and, well...here I am! :D
"User"
I had mild interest in Star Fox after playing the original then Star Fox 64 when I was younger. I discovered Adventures years after it came out (was mainly a PC gamer by then) and I felt in love with Krystal the game. I found the KLA shortly before that happened and afterward bought Assault and Command. I have been a bigger fan of the series since.
Asper Sarnoff
Played SF64 for the first time at a friends birthday party ages ago. Loved it, later bought it, played it a lot, and then forgot about it.Adventures came out, couple of years afterwards, I picked that up on sale somewhere. While not the same as the Starfox I had previously liked, I loved that as well. Got me back into the series, and browsing around the web for more information about the franchise, I stumbled upon this place and others like it. Rest is history. Been playing a little of both SF and SF2 on ROM's, bought Assault a year ago (First time I've ever seen it for sale somewhere here, honestly. It was an used copy as well.) and played trough that completely as well since then.
Guest DRL
As a little kid I recall memories in a (now shut down) localtelevision programme called 'Nivel X' ('Level X').Basically I used to watch it as they showed games andtheir gameplay. I recall memories of Star Fox SNES,Star Fox 2 (Yeah they did Betas too), and Star Fox 64.I wanted those games... The next thing I recall is an'Assault' Spanish commercial which said like "In Spanishsoon the new Star Fox Assault, go over 10 missions in landand space with highly detailed graphics."...That was like, uh, 10 years ago. (And I am 17-to-18,so you see, I had only experienced 8-Bit back then .)Even still, I used to fantazise for some nights after thatabout me and the team flying togheter and beating downMegatron (Transformer Beasts anyone? ). Yeah, myimagination those days...Then two years ago, I happen to buy a N64, and it came withStar Fox 64 (Lucky me ). Since then, I haveloved the series. I got later a DS, and Command, and laterI decided to move more to the PC and emulate them. Thus, I have 64, Command, SF SNES, and SF 2 on ROMs too.On a side note, Star Fox is what basically pulled me intothe 'furry' too (mainly for SF64 Katt. Lol, I am probablythe only Katt fanboy around ).To date, I barely got a GameCube, with only Super SmashBrothers Melee on it. I am looking fowards to Adventures andAssault. I have not lived until I have played those two games.AND I WANT TO LIVE!!! + +
Zero Flare
Well, I remember my friend at school had recently bought a Game Cube and her dad bought her Star Fox Adventures along with it. She was stuck at one of the Krazoa tests, so I borrowed it and tried to offer a solution. Turns out it was the Test of Fear, haha...Adventures really, really appealed to me. And I loved the characters. Then I started looking online at other Star Fox games, where I discovered Assault. But before I got my hands on Assault, I got Command for Christmas. Loved that as well (never mind some of the endings), so then I decided that Assault was a must. Couple of months later, my sister came home with the copy that she ordered me from Amazon. I've yet to play any of the older Star Fox games but I hope to remedy that soon.
Steve
I went backwards. I remember playing the original Starfox on the SNES when I was a kid, never really got interested, not even with SF64. Assault was my first SF game, then I got hooked up with the story and got adventures, then SF64 on the virtual console.
SlyJedi
The first time I experienced StarFox was in my last year in high school. During free time, I saw a friend of mine playing the original for the SNES on some computer port on a desktop, and I did find it interesting. Then some time later, I dug up information about the game series on the internet and I was really into it.I then saw StarFox 64 on YouTube and when it was over, I knew I had found a masterpiece. Then I saw Adventures, and I loved it too, though not as much as StarFox 64. Then came Assault, oh my goodness, it was amazing. I had become a fan. I had also seen Command via the internet, and as you may already know, I did not like it.A while later I bought all 3 games (64, Adventures, and Assault) and played them. Actually playing them was 10 times better than watching them. It became my favorite video game series. I just love it. :)
fox1235
Fox was my favorite character in SSBM. I then wanted to get a SF video game later got SF64 for VC.
Star Fox Runner
I honestly don't know how I got hooked at first, I've been playing SF64 for as long as I could remember. You could say I got hooked on the series when Adventures came out, I was a little kid and the idea of Fox getting out of the Arwing for the first time made me go bonkers. I still love Adventures for that! Then Assault came and I just kept on going.Plus, Fox has always been my best character in SSBM, so I just kept on creating ties for myself to the series. CrypticQuery
Wow, I forgot about Melee . That game probably influenced me the most, as I always picked Fox, no matter what. I always wondered where he came from, and one day, I decided to look it up. Thanks for jogging my memory guys! :D
Ris Grestar
Well, I first played Star Fox 64 at RC Willey without realizing that it was Star Fox 64. I had a lot of fun but then we had to move on in our search for furniture =PThen later on that year around Christmas, Santa came and visited our family! He brought me the game! I started playing it and I was like, "Hey! This is the same one from that store we went to!"Happily playing that game and beating it again and again, learning its little tricks about "Accomplishing" a mission rather than simply "Completing" it, etc. At school I began quoting it while playing tag on the playground, particularly, "Sorry to jet, but I'm in a hurry!"Anyway, aside from recess at school I started getting two of my best friends into Star Fox. They didn't really start playing the games with me until Assault came out, and they really only liked that one anyway because of its multiplayer. Still, though, that wasn't the best part. Years before and after Assault came out, we did something even better. We played Star Fox live. We -were- the Star Fox team! -We- made up the missions and -we- carried them out together! Using the trampoline, the swingset, the couches inside, whatever we could, we had a heck of a lot of fun together. Heck, we even had a Star Fox band where we'd put in a CD and pretend we were the ones making the music, playing the air guitar or drumming the air or whatever =DEventually we even expanded our little Star Fox universe to encompass whatever other games we were fans of. Megaman and The Legend of Zelda were by far the two most used, but we even used Transformers, Zoids, Pokémon, etc.Well, sorry to keep you guys, but that pretty much sums my interest up. To go back just a ways, I liked Star Fox even before I got Star Fox 64 from Santa, though I didn't know it at the time, and I still like the majority of the series to this day^^

Mr. Fox13
I loved SF the moment I played the first game (SF snes), I just loved how the game flowed. I just knew this would be an even greater series down the road, with a diverse collection of games...I'll be an SF fan 4 life! I'll never like another game series as much as I do Star Fox.
Redeemer
My older brother used to play Lylat Wars when I was a kid, which sparked my interest. Then Adventures totally blew my mind, that's my favourite Starfox.
