Where would Star Fox be now?

While true, we are still

in a sci-fi cliché.

Starfox 64 was nothing but scifi cliches and it was great. Its not the cliches themselves that are bad, its how you USE them. That's why Assault's borg ripoffs (Aparopids) annoy me so much, is that they could have been used awesomely, but instead I just found myself wanting to watch Star Trek and Starship Troopers instead of playing the game.

Right, but HOW MANY TIMES will

Andross come back from the dead/cloned/revived/whatever?

In Command, he was a FREAKING TALKING GHOST.

Sure, the Aparoids where not any better, but there

'must' be some new villain out there.

At this point, it is hard to find a 'cool' way of

him coming back. I have to say that it is not

impossible, but it has yet to be seen if he

comes back in such way.

Time machine? Dimensional-rift? Possession?

No? No? UNDEAD AGAIN?

If it's good enough for Liquid Snake/Psycho Mantis, it's good enough for Andross.

Like I said, it is a hard goal to obtain.

That is why I preffer new villains or

formerly minions (Say, Pigma) as the

new big bosses. That does not means

I would not like to kick Andross a** again,

but I DO NOT want any more gigant heads

with predictable powers around.

If he were to, for example, use his

'mastermind' other than throwing stuff

at you and/or trying to eat your fighter -

something like a brilliant plot - then that

would be an AWEC00L way of coming back.

Okay, remove the 'brilliant plot' part,

and we still have a C00L villain. But

no more gigants heads, please.

And suppose we still have the oversized head.

What about different weaknesses and attacks?

Having the same stuff all over again is boring,

to me.

Kinda like the Apariod Queen?

Well, how about a sort of plot where Andross's 'will' from his living time alone was strong enough to influence the present. Something like his hatred toward Corneria and Lylat System in General, and also Fox, was so strong that he had created a legacy with a plan in his testimony to fulfill his work and ruin their life in case he died.

It's not like he didn't have an entire army and several planets under his command, willing to obey his orders, and which wouldn't count anybody among it that could finish his damn work.

So some of his generals or stuff could wage a terrible war again.

But I think it's too big for a StarFox plot.

If Andross is ever revived again, they need to put some impact behind it. Where as Adventures was just sort of "oh look Andross I'm gonna kill him", instead we should have adequete buildup, like if Farewell Falco was a game. Starts off slow, builds up to the conspiracy during the first half, and the the second half is fighting Andross.

Yes, that would be a good way

of coming back.

It would be cool if Fox killed Andross that way, with the Landmaster.

The Landmaster definitely needs more love.

And the Blue Marine needs some too.

NO! The blue marine, on Aquas, is the hardest level on the game! I hate it!

It is not, it's the easiest, for me at least. No team mates to worry about, just mash B for most of the level, can't lose a wing, just gain lasers (which is good, since Sector Y always rips at least one wing off on expert for me), and the easiest boss in the game. I end that fight with more health than I started it with.

I have to agree completely with you,

Vydrach. It happens to me almost exactly

the same (save for the Sector Y wing-loss,

my problem in Sector Y is that I miss all upgrades  ).

I just HATE Aquas....I always get shot at by all the gay sea creatures, and as extreme as underwater barrel rolls may be, the level's still a no no :/ lol
