Well, I feel as though things have changed considerably here over the past couple of days, resulting in me feeling completely unwanted and tired of this place.

And yes, I know why I feel like this. As much as I loved the idea of my sister joining here, I've recently reconsidered. I was never really an active member here, despite being a member for just over a year. I know I didn't post much and the newer people (or even the veteran members for that matter) don't know me too well. I came here because Star Fox HQ thoroughly died out and this was the only other Star Fox community I was also a member of. Some members from HQ had also migrated here, so at least I knew some people.

Back on track of what I was saying - I've recently been making an effort of posting and getting to know people, but ever since my sister decided to just show up out of the blue, people haven't even been reading my posts or talking to me. And I have to say, it really hurts. Because you're all swarming around my sister and I've just been shunned. So I know I didn't post that much, but whenever I did, people just ignore it.

This has happened twice on forums with my sister, and twice is enough to make me sick and tired of it. I join forums to get away from every day life and to meet new people, which I'm sure most members here also do. But it's really not the same when a sibling shows up, especially a sibling who makes you feel insignificant and utterly stupid.

If you haven't noticed already, I'm leaving. It wouldn't make much of a difference now, would it? No, it wouldn't. However, that isn't to say that I haven't enjoyed my time here. I've been here a year, mostly watching and reading information about Star Fox and other games which have the occasional mention here and there. I've met some really pleasant people and I've also met some really stubborn people who I have nearly went head-to-head with. It's been a great experience over all.

Before I go, I'd like to leave a shout-out to some members who really had an impact on me -

Dermot: Really one of the most interesting members of a Star Fox community I have ever seen before. You are determined to make everyone aware of your views and I really respect that. And what's more, you're an old-school Star Fox fan. Something that really pissed me off was the fact that you weren't accepted by some as much as you should have been, because the majority of the Star Fox community is riddled with furfag Krystal fans who don't give a shit about other characters and honestly believe that the whole series revolves around her (sorry if this annoys a lot of people, it's just the way I see it). And what's even more confusing is the fact that you all worship Krystal, but you all detest the game from which she originated? Anyway, that's not the point in this case. Dermot, you're a really, really unique user. I hope you stick around here a bit longer and enjoy this place more than I have.

FredrykPhox: 'Star Fox - The Animated Series'.... hm, where to start with this one. It's fantastic. Even that is an understatement. I may not be an old-school Star Fox fan but this still really appealed to me. It's hilarious and really well-thought out, and I anticipate the finished product. I'd also like to thank you for teaching me how to use OpenCanvas on my tablet, and I also apologize for never really drawing with you in the end. I may need to appear in the chat every now and then so that we can draw sometime.

Star Fox Runner: Another member I really respect, you're always positive and always have something interesting to share with us. You do an excellent job of voice acting and I look forward to hearing your work in Paths of Fate (whenever it finishes...). And you actually acknowledged my posts. :3

Robert Monroe: I may have picked you up wrong in that first post in the Assault thread, but I've realized that was a terrible mistake. Your sense of humor is insane, almost to the point where it's troll-ish, but it's all so damn funny. You're really precise about your views and love a bit of debating. Every forum needs someone like that, seriously. Good job on making me laugh countless times.

TSA User: A really neat guy (and hell, you play laser tag professionally). Your posts on here and on HQ were always a pleasure to read, mainly because you always know what you're talking about. You have plenty to offer in a debate or even a casual conversation, and I actually think that you should also have modship status on here as well. However, that's not my place. I'm just throwing in my input.

Sissi: I know, we have NEVER spoken before. And you probably have no idea I exist on here, haha. Your avatar and usertitle really wins me over, along with that awesome personality. Also, I will never forget -

"There will be no anger in Sissi's topic of happiness! D<"

So, so funny and adorable, because I imagine the kitten in your avatar saying that.

Asper Sarnoff: You're a damn good moderator and a Wolf enthusiast. What is there not to like? You're also a very honest/genuine person.

Redeemer: You're still my sister, and I still love you as my sister. I just find it really difficult being on the same forum as you...

There are some people I have forgotten... I thought this post out last night, heh. So anyway, it was nice being here. I really have enjoyed my time here, and thanks for having me.

Awww, don't go Zero, I enjoyed your artistic posts. Granted I likely didn't see very many of your posts, but I don't see as many of people's posts as I imagine people think I do. You just seem to be a bit reclusive is all, and the reason more people talk to your sister more is that she talks more herself. How I started talking with her, and we just started... shooting the breeze, as the saying. Perhaps if you were to try my style, and post just for the sake of being a talkative douchebag, you'd find more interesting conversations, and give you an incentive to stay?

In either case, make the best of your decisions.

I'm mostly sure you and your sister have different lifes here, and I haven't seen the "she makes me feel stupid" thing you mention, think about it for a second, she goes to post on different topics than you, and you do the same, the only places I have seen you both talking are basically located on the Rec room and welcome wagon. While I do believe you might think she's getting "more" attention than you, I can assure you, and this topic provides me with such proofs, you have the same, and even more attention and people that appreciate you. You already have a history here, why throw it away? If I had to mention people that have never cause any kind of trouble and have done something to make this place more user friendly, your name would come up on the list. You also stood with us when we only had around 3-4 members online every day.

About the random misfortunes in the forum. Well, we are working on them, slowly, but they are going away.

Zero, while the internet is indeed an escape from reality, it shouldn't be a PERMANENT one. Redeemer has no desire to put you down and make you feel unwanted. Before going off an running away from these things because of general assumptions, you should both talk to each other with clear and level heads. You want community, and she wants a way to be around some family. I don't see any malicious intent here. I don't know what's happened on boards past, but here it seems to be little more than a unwarranted drama llama.

I'm sorry things got tough for you Sam, but I can understand when things get to a breaking point on a forum so I won't go out of my way to convince you back here. But I understand if you have to have a little space right now.

Well Sam you've truly made me look like a fool, I hope you're happy. Do yourself a favour and grow up, it's not difficult to co-exist with your sister. I'm over this now and I'm going to stay. If you chose to come back, cool, if not, I don't really care. At least I don't believe this forum should revolve around me. From what some people have told me, you didn't post much here anyway, how is that different from what you're wanting?
