Ya know what Sabre, I take it back, I can't hate anybody BUT you.

People CAN have a song, and Disney lets people follow their dreams. Disney is a GREAT thing that lets everybody see the good things in this world. It's a wonderful thing for kids to grow up on without having to put up with the sh*t that goes on in this damn world now. And I'm just sick of people like you bringing up all the negative things in life. And hey, if you don't like what you read in here, you don't have to post here. By the way, go to hell.

Anyways, back on topic:

Me and Jamie have been dating for about 3 weeks now. We've had a great relationship so far, and I feel it's gonna be a good one :)

She understands me and my needs.

She loves me for who I am and not what I have.

She's a sweet and wonderful person who I love and adore.

She's like the girl of my dreams :)

Anybody wanna see a pic?

<3 you, Robcot.

I actually think that's the better one in my opinion, but it's you and your girl, so it's your opinion.

I concur.

Oh lol okay....:)

I'm not trying to 'dis' anybody, I try to be everybody's friend. But I said what needed to be said.

Anyways OT:

lol we should make a poll of this debate for which is the best picture

Then what's the point of the forum? Might as well not bother if people are only allowed to post 'I agree'.

Disney lets people follow their dreams

Dreams, as in not real, made up, unrealistic. I have no problem with disney. I love the Incredibles for example, but that doesn't mean I believe super heroes are real.

It is possable for people to have a song, but it's not required. As you said, it's silly.

Well the other one was our first date at the football game then dance....i cant dance

Why go dancing then?

Why go dancing then?

Because it's fun, something to do together, a great way to spend time, and if she wants to it's usually better to compromise then argue with her over it, would be my guess.

Hmm. Even though I am "That guy that hates people" I would never bring a gf to a warhammer game, play board or computer games or anything she didn't want to do. I respect their preferences and couldn't have fun if they were board.

He's just pissed at your negativity. Understandable, but in retrospect, his post was a bit unreasonable.

It is possable for people to have a song, but it's not required. As you said, it's silly.

Dreams, in this case, is a word easily substituted for 'life goals'. Picking apart semantics in a discussion like this is a bit pointless, IMO. And of course a song isn't required, but it isn't silly. A certain event (first kiss, marriage proposal, honeymoon, etc.) will gain associated things that spark memories. If not a song, maybe a particular season, or a certain part of the city. It isn't silly.

Why go dancing then?

I would assume it was because his girlfriend wanted to go. Not wanting to let her down, he went. That's a little thing called 'sacrifice'. You do it for the people you love

Ah, but he said he can't dance, not that he doesn't have fun trying.

Sabre...

You're not getting the point man, this world, the world we're living in, is FULL of HELL. Disney, brings in the bright side of life. Looking at good things from every point of view. It just lets kids be happy and not see the terrible things in the world as they are now so hopefully they can grow up and be good people. Sure super heroes are not real, as cool as it would be if I was Spider-man, but it let's people have dreams, dreams that  can help them in life to become good people. Look at Bill Gates, he had a dream, sure maybe he didn't watch Toy Story and think "Holy shitzu Sonikku I'm gonna make Windows and become the richest man in the world (Or at least one of them)" but this is just a good example of what a dream can be turned into. And those awesome kinda dreams can be formed by hope that these wonderful things of disney that it creates.

That's ALL I'm gonna say about it.

Ooh, context. Odd because when I do that, people complain about it rather then addressing the point I made. Plus, doesn't matter, it is still unrealistic which I will get to now.

You are the one not getting it. Why is the world 'full of hell'? Unreasonable expecations. For example. Loads of men and women are single and unhappy. Part of the reason is that many of them believe that disney true love prince charming crap will happen to them. It won't so they become sad and depressed ect. Everyone expects to be the best but that is not how life works. You say that people having dreams is a good thing. I had a 'dream' to become a games animator and designer. Did it happen? No. Riches? Nope. Love? Not here, and this is from a smart, possably savant level guy, but slacker mc knobhead who missed half of his college classes and has so few qualifications I left school with more then he has gets into university because he happened to know the right people. THAT is reality. All because I foolishly believed that hard work and education meant something. Dreams are nothing but make believe. You need logistics, a practical plan to realise that vision within the means available.

As I have pointed out before, love is luck + proximity. People fall in love with people they have known for a while who happen to have compatable genes. (You tend not to know people who don't share your interests very long) I won't rant any more about me because it sounds like I'm QQing when Im not, just pointing out the reality you don't want to accept because you want to believe that you had a hand in finding love, when you haven't.

the allys round my way all have street lights now, so your meaphor fails. :P

A better saying would be "Some walk the path, others walk in the road. It's the same street, but hopfully the ones on the road will be hit by a car."

Snap again. You're beating me to all my points tonight.

QQ moar.

You

You say that people having dreams is a good thing. I had a 'dream' to become a games animator and designer. Did it happen? No. Riches? Nope. Love? So, you're saying having 'dreams' is a bad thing because they don't come true, but in the same breath admitting that you didn't meet your dreams because you're a slacker who missed his classes? That's all on you, buddy. If you slack, you don't get things done. I slack, so I haven't written a novel yet. Is that Disney's fault for giving me dreams? No, it's my fault for not busting my ass to get what I want to get done, done.

All because I foolishly believed that hard work and education meant something. Dreams are nothing but make believe. You need logistics, a practical plan to realise that vision within the means available.

Believing hard work means something doesn't do anything if you don't work hard. According to this very post, you didn't.

Yes, luck and proximity play a large role in anything anyone does. Period. Still, thinking you don't have a hand in it is just wrong. If you actually get out there and try to find someone worth spending your life with, put some effort into getting them to fall for you, and actually make compromises with them on things you don't agree on, then you definitely had a hand in it. The only way it could be completely left up to 'luck + proximity' is if you went about your daily life just waiting for good luck to carry you someone you're compatible with.

This post is necessary.

Hey guys, what would you consider an unhealthy relationship?

I mean, would you consider a relationship with everything but sex unhealthy?

Or...what? Comments please!

A relationship without sex can be healthy and fulfilling, though it does go against the base instinct that drives things to form a relationship in the first place.
