It's not that bad if you play it once in a while for short periods of time. There are a lot of slow and boring parts, yes, but it also has some parts that can be entertaining.

In my opinion it was just trying to complete the test of fear, and finding out how to defeat Andross in the end of the game. There wasn't enough flying to know what to do really....otherwise, no problem.

I think i have the true answer, starting the game again. I don't have the guts to attempt to beat it twice

I've beaten the game at least 15-20 times.

I kid you not - the scary thing is that I haven't played the game properly in a few years, and yet I knew exactly where everything was, and what to do when I started playing it again last week LOL ):

The Krystal part I disliked the most. Her furriness wasn't good enough.

listening to Fox blather on about not being payed enough. It just makes him sound cheap, you're supposed to be a hero man, get your mind intact.

He wants his money.

Hey, he might be a hero but he's also part of a team that does not work for the Cornerian army or any other army, and they need to get paid in order to keep doing what they do best (which is saving the universe, of course).

So yeah, he might sound cheap, but can you imagine how much money would you need to maintain a huge spaceship like the Great Fox? or how about the Arwings, Landmaster and Blue Marine? If you think about it, it's easy to understand why he acts the way he does about money (especially considering he and his team couldn't find well paid jobs for a few years until Dinosaur Planet events took place -IIRC-).

Plus, he ended up doing everything anyway, it was more a way for him to complain about the somewhat boring and unorthodox things or objectives he had to accomplish, which apparently felt more like a chore to him. Also, the whole mission took way longer than he had anticipated (he thought he was done when he brought back Tricky to his mom... man, was he wrong :P), so most of what he had to do was unexpected and not very interesting for him.

My least favorite part was when Tricky burns you after beating him with the staff... (I guess i deserved it.) After that my least favorite part would be the test of strength. I am not really a great button masher...

Also there was something about the fact we could not use a blaster, even after we finish the game... I really wanted to shoot stuff....

Lol: "it's always the same with you Fox, shoot first and ask questions later. No weapons!"

lol, I read somewhere you could get Tricky to burn anything you wanted to burn by beating him, and by doing that he wouldn't use any blue mushrooms... I never tried it but it sounded funny. :P

And I agree, the blaster would've been a great bonus item for finishing the game. It would've made second playthroughs more interesting and fun.

Perhaps, but you always do your Complaining AFTER you finish the assignment, that way they owe you, and then you can make the pretense of it not being enough.

Admittedly, to me there were parts where he could have been a little more..."polite" ("Okay, enough already! Can I just get on with it?" Oi.), and it's funny that this was brought up because this actually annoyed me at first (Him complaining about the pay).

But now, I just giggle at it; it's funny to me now - and it's also understandable, as pointed out above me.

Where you're on the back of the Brachiosaurus, and you have to hit the enemies.

That's actually not too bad.

What I do is either sit on my knees with the controller propped up in front of me on a chair, or I prop the controller on one of my legs; then, I just use my pointer finger and rapidly hit the A button while using the other hand to control the analog stick. It sounds stupid and unworkable, but I find it to help quite a lot.

It took me three freakin' days to find the staff...Imagine how I felt when I found it.

I am disappointed that it would take anyone longer then 5 minutes.

*Cracks knuckles* Here we go:

1) Trying not to whack Tricky to the point where he blows fire at me

2) Not laughing at the Sharpclaw

3) Yelling at General Scales to kill something already

4) Not getting pissed at some of the Krazoa Tests

5) Lightfoot. 'Nuff said.

6) Dropping one scarab when you had to drop about ten or so into a well, then raging.

7) Not become creeped out by the Warpstone whenever it continued to adjust itself in my direction, then talking.

8) Not saying, "that's it," whenever I get done with an Arwing mission.

9) Trying to not laugh whenever Tricky uses his flame technique on a Sharpclaw that is trying to attack me.

10) Trying not to laugh whenever two Sharpclaw hit one another whenever they swing their weapon at me at the same time, but they're really close to one another.

11) Trying not to question if eating a live egg was alright...

12) Trying to figure out what a "Brain Squid" was.

13) Not becoming caught off guard by the giant Krazoa spirit outside the Volcano Force Point Temple.

1) I've done this intentionally. Caught me off guard the first time it happened. Now I do it just to be mean. (:

2) How can you not laugh at them? They can barely take care of themselves.

4) It was never the test itself that infuriated me (Aside from the Test of Fear), but I found that lot of them were infuriating to get to. /cough/ Dragon Rock.

5) I feel your pain.

9) I've done this both accidentally and intentionally as well.

10) I've had this happen before. Hilarious.

13) Hm. Never really caught me off guard.

Test of Fear. that was the hardest and most frustrating part of the game for my first playthrough. and to this day I still can't get through it without screwing up once.
