Guest Julius Quasar
I had a friend who's parents sent him to a Japanese boarding school, from K-12, he came home holidays, but not that often. He reads/speaks Japanese and English perfectly, and he's WAY better educated than any American I know.*bangs gong*

And it's not a 6 day school week that makes you smarter, it's lots of factors:cultural views on the urgency of school (whites and Asians care about education, but other ethnicities not so much)social views on school (America views school as a chore, and treats it as such)bureaucracies interferingtoo much homeworkincompetent school adminsstuff like that make [American] schools so poor quality

My math teacher had the HEAVIEST Jamaican accent EVER! When pronouncing "math" it sounded so much like "meth" it wasn't even funny. Here is a quote from him;"I live off of meth(math), if you cut my veins, I will BLEED meth(math)!"Good times, he didn't realize half of us were dying of laughter :D

Geo Stelar
School is fun, especially when the subject is something you specialize in (algebra, trigo, english, and computer for me) or when it's break time, or when there is a big event and all you have to do is have fun and enjoy the time with friends. The only really bad thing about school days is that parents sometime limit all your hobby time, especially with computers. Plus, when misunderstanding occurs, you get grounded just because of using a computer shop for a project that they thought were just for games.Plus you need to sleep/wake up early... at least not for those who enter night shift. Fluxy
For everyone who knows Brian Regan, the comedian, he did a "Stupid in School" bit. I found this a while ago, and it is hilarious. They mixed the bit with Starfox assault clips. It's amazing! :D

Nova
I dropped out in february... My CRAZY ex ruined it for me. She sent a email to EVERYONE with like 20 pages of reasons why not to talk to me and why to hate on me and i had a knife to my throat because she has big friends...XDI got ahold of the email from a loyal friend and it oddly enough didnt make me too mad, but just confused as to why someone would go to such an extent to hate someone.Im moving during the summer so im going to get my education back in line. As for now, Im screwed. Because I am lazy as hell. I had AMAZING marks. i didnt take the university bound classes (Academic), i took mainstream... In my first year, all my marks were 90%+ (Except Music... I messed up with the exam, grabbed a band music sheet and not a solo so i couldn't do my exam XD)I L O V E learning. I often learn how to do stuff just for the heck of it, I know computers inside and out, I know how to cook and I am very good at maintaining salt water fish tanks Just a message to anyone whos thinking about dropping out... Yea. I know everyone else says the EXACT SAME THING (DONT DO IT! ITS BAD!)Take it from me, I did it and I thought I could just work for mcdonalds or some place, but nope. They will choose that 32 year old mexican who will work 2x the hours you will... You NEED an education. And when you have an education, You get money. And money gets you boobs. Nuff said.
