Should I move to Seattle, WA.?

I've been thinking things over...and I realize, California State is doomed.  I'm tired of waiting around for improvement, and I'm sick of being jobless and broke.  I've had it with the hypocrisy, the racial supremacy, the corruption, the high taxation and incompetent social services, the crime, gangs, a**holes outnumbering the decent or good folks, gun control, elitism, pollution, severe overcrowding...and the high rent/mortgages out here.

I love California, but I hate 2/3 of the people in it, and I hope maybe one day I could return again.  I was born and raised in Cali, and I loved it here, but I think it's basically on the road to ruin.  There are gonna be countless convicts about to be released to to lack of prison funding, and I don't think I wanna stick around for that.  Our economy is ruined, there are NO JOBS out here, and I'm just losing any reason to stay.

I hear great things about Washington State, especially Seattle.  I think I should move there (NOT BECAUSE MR. KRYSTAL LIVES THERE), but for other reasons.

Does anyone here know why I should or should not move to Seattle, WA.?  Particularly if you live there or grew up there?

Well, for what I know is that there are great places to see there. Like the Rimbour mansion aka Rose Red which is rumored to be haunted. I was gonna say Digipen but you already mentioned that. Don't they have Rainfurrest going on in Seattle?

If you do go to WA, Go to Bellevue and go to SuckerPunch HQ and tell them Brad said hi.

And can I get a hat please?

Now on to the topic. Well it's your choice. I only wanted to go to Cali. to see my idol's tomb. (You all know who he is for I constantly kept talking about him) But I here Washington's pretty relaxing and peaceful. Heck there's even one area that's so quiet that people actually leave their doors unlocked...Until a murderer came along. but he got zapped so... >_>

Yes it is or was. I don't know if it was torn down or something. All I know is that Stephen King wrote a story which was made into a movie inspired by the house. Also I think seattle is the hometown of Valves HQ.

Now for the million dollar question, would they know who he's talking about if he did?

And I don't really know much about Washington, just that I've heard it's still an open carry state, which is awesome. I wouldn't mind living there myself, especially if it's near a furry con. Always wanted to attend one of those.

Mmm, I see.  I've heard nice things about Puget Sound, and Bellingham, but the problem is they might be too expensive for me.

I'll start in Seattle, work my way up.

I hope it still stands, and it's for sale.  I wouldn't mind living in a haunted house. :D

If you move to Seattle, you'd better get used to the miserable winters. It does rain quite a bit, and in the winter, it does not turn to snow, just slush.

It sure is a big departure from SoCal, though. I live just over a day's drive from Seattle, and I have to say that the northwest coast does take some getting used to. Have you been there before?

I would be surprised if there weren't any members here who don't live in Seattle. I know that ThePointingMan lives in a place with a similar climate, but that's about it.

Hmm...

No.  I been to Oregon before, but I was really little.  I hardly remember it.

I'm not moving to Seattle, WA. right away, but in the near future, like 2-3 years, maybe.

I might take a trip up there and scout the area sooner than that. =/

I heard Oregon's kinda on the weird/normal side. Choose wisely if you go there. (East or West greaser?  :P )

I don't wanna live in Oregon, especially Inland.  The few memories I have of that place are sad.

Bellevue?  Sounds nice.  A good alternative.

I say give it a try. This is how it looks like

at night according to a Sega Gen/Meg

Shadorun port-to-videgame game.

Yo, I am happy for the city being all C00L

and everthing, but they are a little weird...

They have:

°'Common' days.

°'Super Ecologist Green' days.

°'Remember the Old Times' days.

°And the feared "Blood Nights" nights!!.

in quite nicely.

Just remember: If you see a guy or gal

with fangs and saying "I am feeling hungry'

RUN AWAY. Unless... You want to join the

'party' they have there. O_o
