Scott7
"If you can't remember, then I won't push it." Tucker said with a smile. "But if you -do- remember...please, share.""Noted..." He replied as he lifted his faece off of the Table cloth.
Ris Grestar
"Thank you...Now then, I won't keep you any longer." Returning to his plate, realizing most of it was gone anyway, the quoll pulled it back in front of him and quietly began to eat. His mind, however, still remained on Scott. Ris Grestar
(Sorry for double posting, but this is with a different character and seeing as no one else seems to be posting here, I kind of have to.)Ris still couldn't help but hate himself a little bit for losing in his fight against Tyr. Not only had he lost, but he had lost rather badly--and after all the good he claimed to be, too.Well, he -was- good...Tyr was just much better. In what some would consider a desperate attempt, the blue vulpine was on his way to the gym. He had to work somehow to get better than that silver wolf, and he figured that this was a good place to start. However, on his way he stopped, puzzled by a quiet shimmering. Star_Dragon
The Phayder stood absolutely still as the target looked right at him. When he gave no alarm, he started to move. Hitting a button, he shimmered and appeared before Ris. "You played a very dangerous game on Nar Shaddaa... Took away our contact within the Humans. Now, you shall pay the price!" The Phayder lunged for Ris, wrist blades extended, ready to kill...
Ris Grestar
Ris leapt back, but he stumbled a little in surprise. "Nar Shaddaa? Who the heck are you?"Whoever it was, it obviously wasn't friendly...
Star_Dragon
Kyle Indari was in the neighborhood when he noticed the Phayder atttacking Ris. Getting up to high ground immediately, he set up shop hastily and took aim. Sending a Telepathic message to Ris, he said, "Ris, as soon as you can, get away from the Phayder and give me a clear shot." As he said this, he charged the disruptor of his MP340A2. Ris Grestar
His ears perking at the voice, Ris gave a subtle nod, spinning around taking off in a sprint. If he just needed to give Kyle an open shot, he just needed to put a little distance between them...
Star_Dragon
When Ris ran, there was a loud ZAP! and a white energy bolt flashed in from nowhere and vaporized the Phayder. Kyle searched for another target and found none. Putting away his MP340A2, he got down to ground level and headed to Ris' location. "You okay?" Ris Grestar
"Well, I-I mean, I didn't get hurt..." Ris muttered, glancing back over his shoulder to where the Phayder was. "I--...What was that thing?"

"I--...What was that thing?" "It was a Kemorainian Phayder Assassin. We need to get going, before his friends come looking for him. Come on, I have a transport waiting not far from here," Kyle said, leading Ris down an adjacent alley.

Star_Dragon
Kyle continued to the transport. "You've been targeted by the Kemorainian Imperial Remnant, but we can't talk abbout it here." He led Ris through a series of twists and turns until he came upon a Sangheili Phantom dropship. Turning to Ris, he motioned for him to come aboard while saying, "We can talk when we get back to the Retribution's Thunder." (Not the Dragonarian ship, this one's a Sangheili Gunship--an assault carrier refitted to have a multitude of weapons.)
Ris Grestar
Ris stifled a sigh, his tail simply flicking to the side instead. "Right..."'Guess I've really no choice.'With a light nod, the fox stepped aboard, not going far at all before turning back to make sure Kyle was coming, too. Star_Dragon
Kyle surveyed the area to make sure that they weren't being followed. With that out of the way, he headed up the boarding ramp and shut it, powered up the Phantom, and blasted out of the spaceport (Or wherever we were). Calling back to Ris, he said, "Hey, Ris... I don't suppose you remember the adventure where you and Kylet'oran chased me all the way to Nar Shaddaa? The one that started when I took a shot at you?" Star_Dragon
Even as Kyle flew the Phantom, he could sense Ris' unease. "Don't worry, I won't make a move on you. Star Dragon's mission right now is to protect you, so I had to bring you along. As I said, you've been targeted by the KIR. Not a good thing." "Sangheili Gunship Retribution's Thunder to Phantom Dropship on approach, Identify yourself." ordered Kylet'oran's voice over the Phantom's radio. Kyle tapped a few buttons, and silence ensued. Finally, Kylet'oran Spoke again. "Acknowledged. You may proceed to the hangar. Welcome to the Retribution's Thunder, Ris. We'll have escorts assemble in the Hangar prior to landing. Out." Star_Dragon
Kyle sighed. "No," He said. "They're after you because you took the KIR's informant from them. Their most *valuable* informant. Beyond that, I know nothing." The Phantom shudddered as the computers on the Sangheili Gunship took over. Leaning back in the seat and propping his feet up on the dashboard, Kyle gestured to the vacant co-pilot's seat. "Care to sit?"
Ris Grestar
Hesitating for a moment, Ris gave an idle flick of his tail before sitting down in the indicated seat, slouching slightly to relax. "Though technically it was Krystal who took the informant..."'Yes, Krystal, the one who wasn't even a part of it from the beginning...The one who I didn't want to be a part of it from then on.' Star_Dragon
"To tell the truth," Kyle said, "they're after *everyone* that went after Mr. Hundley, Me included. You, for one reason or another, were easier for them to find." As the Phantom approached theRetribution's Thunder, the ship got more massive, and numerous weapons were seen on the ship (I'll give a full armament description later, if there is time.). Kyle looked to Ris, and said, "You okay? You look a little... beat-up, no offense."
Ris Grestar
Ris simply nodded in understanding as Kyle spoke--That is, until he reached his last remark. His ear twitching, the fox crossed his arms over his chest, straightening up a little. "Ahh, go screw yourself..."

Star_Dragon
Kyle didn't answer this question as the Phantom landed in the Hangar of the Sangheili Gunship. He got up from his seat and lowered the boarding ramp. Six Sangheili arrayed themselves in two neat rows before the ramp. Looking to Ris, he said, "After you." Ris Grestar
"Um...Okay..." Again hesitantly, the fox reached back and tightened his headband before walking down the ramp, turning around once he had reached ground and taking in his surroundings while he waited for Kyle.
