Fana McCloud
Strangely enough I had reason lately to go on a crazy nostalgia trip after hearing that they were releasing a Darkwing Duck comic book series. You can bet I bought the first issue of that. Some TV shows I remember loving as a kid:Darkwing DuckTeenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesGargoylesMighty DucksMighty Max (two "mightys" in a row, heh)AnimaniacsHisteria (fun AND educational)Sonic the Hedgehog (the grittier, more serious SatAM one - there was another much more cheezy, lighthearted one running at the same time that I never really liked)Care Bears (sadly)X-Men (almost any of the series based on this franchise made over the years)Batman (the 90's thing with the Bruce Timm art style)Batman BeyondReboot (c'mon, SOMEONE has to remember this one)Numerous other things I probably shouldn't mention for fear of creating a list a mile long. XDStuff that I've grown attached to in my adult life:Doctor Who (The theme here seems to be cartoons, but the OP did say "shows". Then again it was also supposed to be stuff that doesn't air anymore. I just love the Doctor too much not to mention him. XD)Avatar: The Last AirbenderMetalocalypse (Is it just me, or did the most recent season of this seem REALLY short? I wish it'd come back already.)And somewhere in the middle I regrettably started watching Yu-Gi-Oh! religiously - partially to laugh at all the cheeze that just loved to ooze from it. The dub job made it hilarious. But I really did like it for some unfathomable reason and still do.I agree that there's some pretty strange, mindless stuff on TV these days when it comes to cartoons and childrens' programming in general. It makes me wonder how the current generation of children are going to turn out honestly. O.o I remember when they used to air reruns of stuff from the 60's and even earlier (Gilligan's Island, Twilight Zone, Adam's Family - that sort of thing, and yes even some cartoons too). Nowadays if it's older than a few years they act as if it's not worth showing - even if it's really good. What replaced it? Well, I know that I saw a suspicious rise in the amount of daytime talk shows. Retrojunk.com is a really good place for reliving in all that fun stuff from our childhoods. XDYou and I share a lot of the same tastes it seems  And Darkwing Duck comic book series? Since when? That cartoon was my familiar! The humor was just so badass, I credit the writinghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4Bf03Q6M9w&feature=relatedAnd somewhere in the middle I regrettably started watching Yu-Gi-Oh! religiously - partially to laugh at all the cheeze that just loved to ooze from it. But I really did like it for some unfathomable reason and still do.Same, I watched the first 20+ episodes of Season 1 then stopped after realized what an addicting waste of time it was. The redub this particular group did on it though was absolutely hilarious. Mr. Fox13
I really wish Inuyasha would come back around. I've watched the whole season three times now. It used to come on around 10pm but they kept moving it up later and later to make room for new shows. Then finally they just completely dropped it. Â Now it never comes on t.v anymore. :(

So it's still running, albeit in its newer form.Well yeah, that's why I mentioned the fact that it was supposed to be shows that don't air anymore - because Doctor Who currently still airs. I'm not THAT ancient - I only came in with the revival myself. XD
