Do you believe Fox has legit reasons to be in love with Krystal?

Kid, you're starting to irritate me with how uppity you're getting. Don't tell me to calm down, especially when you don't heed the advice of others.

Star Fox Runner's post is a non-answer. Its just stating what we already know: Starfox has shitty writing and nothing in the games gives us a straight answer, which brings us the entire POINT of the debate, which is to make assumptions based on what little we do know from the canon. It is, in short hypothesizing, the use of intellectual knowledge on a subject to arrive at a sensible conclusion about something we do not know the actual truth of. This is a founding principle of the scientific method, after all.

And, from my understanding of 1: human psychology (to say Lylatians aren't "human" is bullshit because they act human in every possible way just about), and 2: animal reproduction (which Lylatians are, animals that is, because they certainly aren't plants), I can safely and securely claim that Fox and Krystal, while having the POTENTIAL to have legitimate reasons to love each other, do in fact not have legitimate reasons to love each other.

And before anyone else says it, yes, hurfdurf getting worked up over a Nintendo game. I can see the silliness of it all.

There's actually a whole lot of SFAd left out, Krystal actually escapes earlier then when she does now, and she teams up with Fox for a little while, they get to know each other and fall in love ???

For a reason unknown. In Star Fox Adventures, Krystal was actually released from the crystal earlier than the end of the game. And what was supposed to happen was once Krystal was saved, she teams up with Fox, they get to know each other and fall in love ?.

finally i am getting the full story of the star fox games without buying it myself. what if the game was turned into a movie.. starting right before adventurers and on until the movie explained exactly what nitendo meant (srry i don't own 1 to spell it) and what the plot should look like to avoid this whole mess.

Be that as it may, it kinda makes what you're saying about how "We don't know" useless for this topic, since the topic is just us speculating about whether the reasons we are given are legitimate or not. As Robert said, "We don't/can't know" is a non-answer and doesn't get us anywhere.

I think a problem Namco made with Assault is that they treated it as if it happened directly after Adventures, except in a few areas (Tricky, and the backstory). The characters all acted as if they'd only recently gotten back together, though.

Awe man...I was wondering what Krystal was saying when she gave Fox an expression after Tricky said "Not yet?"...her expression is priceless. She could possibly be saying something that we gamers probably don't know of yet until Nintendo works on another Star Fox game insted of a remake.

IN BETWEEN ASSAULT AND COMMAND THEY FELL IN LOVE HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO REPEAT THIS HOLY BALLS CAPS LOCK CRUISE CONTROL. And AGAIN, once Command actually HAPPENS, they have already BROKEN UP. So the ENTIRE time they were in love happens to be in between Assault and Command, and like Samantha said: everyone disregards Command as non-canon. You can NOT pick and choose like this! If you accept that Command is canon, then you accept that Fox and Krystal were in love, and now they are NOT. If you choose to NOT accept Command, then the information provided by Assault and Adventures says that Fox and Krystal are NOT legitimately in love, and at best Krystal flirts and Fox derps around like a high schooler.
