He's not. It's a valid opinion and one shared by a good deal of gamers at that.

Well ,i think adventrues did little to "further" the game but why would we want that? And i thought assualt was good even, when on the ground. Then when he got to command I started agreeing with him, but! to think that adventrues and assault were not descent follow up games and were rejected by the fans in a load of Bull.

Imagine if you will that you have a company with a few first party franchises that span several genres. You have mario for jumping and platforming, Zelda for adventuring and hitting folks with swords, metroid for exploring big maps, and StarFox for aiming at stuff and going pew-pew IN THREE DEEEEE. Now imagine that the PEW PEW game steps onto Zelda's territory and doesn't hold the standard (as opposed to Mario stepping in Metroid's with SM64 and doing it WELL.) and introduces a new character that isn't really anything special thanks to lack of explanation. Now when the fans say they want their old formula back, they oblige and give us a teaser demo containing 3 real stages and 7 of on foot dated third person shooter... things. Then command comes and still isn't a good successor, but is a step in the right direction + ass story decisions that piss off almost every party involved.

That's why some fans are angry at GCN era starfox, and Krystal inherits some of the blame for it, plus her own problem of, well, as the video says "one more thing to worry about when going online."

Yes and we have Halo And a million other first person shooters all being profitable. Most fans seemed content with adventrues, enjoying the diffrence. And knew that this form of game play Wasn't likly to apear in the next game. Command was a step in the wrong dirrection. Introducing new characters like marcus how are terrible might appear in the next game , and if they don't, they got a boat load of supports to scream at neintendo further confusing them about what to fdo about star fo.

And?

Most fans seemed content with adventrues, enjoying the diffrence. And knew that this form of game play Wasn't likly to apear in the next game.

They enjoyed it more when it was called Ocarina of Time is the point. Adventures was a rather low quality Zelda game with a furry Link (who also happened to be an asshole) and Zelda dressing like slave Leia. While also being furry.

Starfox is once more non linear and about shooting space ships? OH NO! The horror! What's this, they also introduced a character that got 2 screens of screentime and STILL managed to be only a little less likable than the deep character juggernaut they introduced in Krystal? NOOOOO!

non sarcasm mode: Marcus barely exists and he's only a step below Krystal in likability/depth. Fanboys be whining since Command is cruel to Krystal and... about every other character for that matter.

she really didnt...do much....she was barely in the Story of all the games she was featured in...she just needed more of a role in the games as much as everyone else did.

I dislike fans like this.

And I dislike fans who will eat up any shit developers give them as long as its packaged with a hot blue vixen.

We need to have more whiny bitchy fans. Maybe then we'll get a GOOD Starfox game.

90% of this boards posters are far more childish than him, and I didn't even agree with everything he said.

Well, here's my full opinion.

So, I'm going to jump straight into Adventures. Adventures...well, I haven't played adventures, but I know that the gameplay was very non-StarFox. The flight missions had a tacked-on feel, and the only thing keeping it alive was Krystal, the damsel in distress. Now, I'm thinking that because a lot of furries play StarFox, and a lot of furries enjoy drama, and even better, love drama, Nintendo saw in their statistics that the majority of fans enjoyed adventures, and furthermore, Krystal.

Jump to Assault-era. Assault was MUCH more StarFox-y, with three flying missions, and ground missions that, although they weren't really all that good, retained the feel of StarFox. The game developers decided to keep Krystal around, due to polls, or statistics, or whatever they have access to. She hung around and shot some stuff up, which appealed to fans much more. More non-furry gamers would be attracted to a more kick-ass chick than a "HALP MEH FOX!" character.

So, now on to Command. Krystal is once again, the damsel in distress after Fox dumps her for "Her own safety". Hello? Are we even regarding Assault? She did fine in that game? So, now, depending on the storyline  she is either kicking ass again, or, in more than one, she becomes more of a b*tch than anything.

There's my two bits.

Just because it's true and legitimate doesn't mean it won't be offensive to some people.  If I pull out facts that prove that the majority of people in North America who have HIV/AIDS engage in homosexual behavior no shit that would offend some people.  Hence why such statements, even though the facts back them up, are not politically correct. :/

That being said, people insisting that everyone be politically correct ALL the time is retarded - those people piss me off lol.

The difference here is the discussion calls for it. Look at the thread title. Look at the games Krystal was in. Notice the two factions bickering over if said games were good or not (and how the pro-ones usually have no argument past LOLKRYSTAL.)

If anyone is offended, then perhaps they should move to another thread that wasn't specifically made for such statements.

The problem with this is Japan hates Krystal on a general scale. The more likely explanation is they just bumbled around with it and the 3rd parties in charge of each individual project only made things more chaotic.
