Four-eyed Vulpine
My ASUS G51Vx just decided to stop working right today. I suspect it's gotten some kind of bug, so I'm using an old Dell Inspiron 6000 for the time being until I can get the ASUS fixed. Thus, my activity may be a little spotty for the next week or so.And I'm supposed to be getting my new video capture device anytime now. Such great timing. Four-eyed Vulpine
And the verdict from the computer place IS.......Hard drive failure.Which means I just lost a bunch of stuff. That is the bad news. The good news is that since it is a hardware failure, it is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, so I shouldn't have to pay to get a replacement hard drive. But it's going to take a lot of work to get back to where I was.I will get my laptop back tomorrow with further instructions on getting the hard drive replaced.Needless to say, I'm going to be really busy in the next 45 days before next semester. Hoping for the best.
