Nexus
Yes, but a perfect example of bad layout is that the ps3 has a load of processors, but theyre all specific, they can only do certain jobs, they have no form of interaction and cannot support the other chips. Meaning, yes it probably has better sound, but if one chip is struggling it will not support that chip at a small cost to the sound quality. It also has better graphics but theyre completely dedicated so they cannot be used to support memmory etc etc... overall as a small scale computer it is useless, compared to the xbopx which has interaction between all the major chips. As for specific games that playstation have released they have been nothing special, uncharted 2 was just more repetition of uncharted 1, little big planet was just horrific (but i dont like that sort of game so my opinion here is biassed), admitedly i do like killzone, its one of the reasons ive still got my ps3. I also agree that controller layout is a matter of opinion, i find the 360 controller more comfortable, i tend to get aches in my fingers and wrist after playing the ps3 for long periods.i agree with everything you just said
Steve
I'm starting to see a pattern here...most people that prefer the ps3 here are younger than those that prefer the xbox, however, those that prefer the wii or/and pc (or just don't give a dang) tend to be around the same age but older than the other two . I guess some are scared by the "lol you wiifag, you kiddo" and younger teenagers are more tempted to go for the shiny instead of the classic while older gamers (must have born around the 80's) just don't give a damn and play whatever is good for them, but are still tempted to go for a pc/wii (Because the pc will end up outperforming the HD consoles and the wii for classic/retro gaming or just Nintendo nostalgia) in their current gaming combo, of course, this is just pure speculation . That said the Wii is better built and overall a better machine than all the others, for a very limited output they make very good use of it and have some of the more 'interesting' games. You sir, know your stuff

For some reason as far as i can tell in the uk they havent released the original starfox on the vc yet. So ive still got to get my nes out. So unfortunately no ive not played it, though i have heard of it. Im glad that these games are being released on the vc, but ive yet had chance to go through and see which ones i want, unfortunately i think i work too much, as thats all i seem to do atm. Guest Mr. Mario
For now, I have to say Xbox 360, I know there is plenty of good Wii titles out there but unfortunatly, it's Mario-Zelda-Pokemon crap all the time.

Nova
I own all major consoles.Wii, XBox360 and PS3. And of course, PC.PC Is currently my favorite but it depends on what games come out at the time.
MeestaRyan
I'm a nintendo person, but I really like all the systems. 360 and ps3 are both good, but I don't play PC at all. I don't know why people are so "Oh ps3 is so shitty" or "oh microsoft and 360 suck so hard!" I really don't think it matters that much. All systems have their ups and downs. Sapphire
The Wii is a very good system, I will give it that, and it does have it's good games (Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii Sports Resort, Sonic and the Black Night, etc.) and the controller is okay, but if you don't have MotionPlus, which is what you need to keep the damn finger from wiggling. And I love how you can play GC games on the Wii, now I can finally sell my GC. The Xbox 360, I have had the console, I love it, the games are just amazing (Gears of War 1 & 2, Halo 3, etc.), The controller is very confortable, I love how the way the stickas are designed to fit your finger in the stick (You know what I mean) but it does have the possibility of the Red Ring of Death (You know the song) and the fan is very loud, I'd have to turn up the TV at night and wake up everybody in my house, and if you want internet, you'd have to buy the stupid $100 wi-fi connector, unless you buy a Ethernet cord and run it through your house, or under your house. The PS3 is a good game system, it has built in wi-fi, a kinda quiet fan , and cool games (Uncharted 2, Fallout 3, Killzone 2, COD games) and the controller is cool, not as confortable as the 360 but still worth gettin. And I think all of the PS3 controllers are wireless (I dunno). But something I don't like about any of these systems is the lack of music support tword the ipod (Touch, Phone, whatever). Guest Scorpion03
iPods are better! Clearly not, theyre incompatible with everything, which means its more of a nuissance for a piece of equipment that costs twice what it would cost you to get a perfectly good mp3 player that works with the equipment u own. People who use macbooks are a perfect example of this. The cliche that they all sit is coffee shops hoping that people will think they are working on a screenplay are not unfounded. That's why people called iTw*ts.
