Scott7
I belive the Eurpeon one was released with a diffrent name orginally. The SNES Starfox in either Europe or UK had its name changed to Starwing to avoid a reference or something like that.... Dublinthefox
I belive the Eurpeon one was released with a diffrent name orginally.Well yeah. Star Fox was Star Wing and Star fox 64 was Lylat Wars. When Adventures came out Nintendo was like "screw it lets just stay with one name."

Heather McDonnell
I belive the Eurpeon one was released with a diffrent name orginally.Better for me You get always confused with the ''StarFox series'' en the SNES game: StarFox.
Star Fox Runner
I know that in the South American countries, Star Fox 64 kept the English language audio, but the subtitles were all translated into the local languages.Well yeah. Star Fox was Star Wing and Star fox 64 was Lylat Wars. When Adventures came out Nintendo was like "screw it lets just stay with one name." There was another group that held the copyrights to the name Star Fox in Europe at the time of Star Fox SNES and 64's release. When Adventures came out, the other group lost the copyrights and Nintendo was able to call it Star Fox in Europe.

I do however always refer to it as Starfox 64 to avoid confusion.
DZComposer
Anyone know if SF64 3D will be called Lylat Wars 3D in Europe?
Asper Sarnoff
Anyone know if SF64 3D will be called Lylat Wars 3D in Europe? Not me. Heck, I don't even fully know if it will be released at all in Europe. Would be surprised if it didn't though. But see as they after SF64 started calling them all by the same title as in the US, I suspect they will use Starfox 64. conaly
Hi,Anyone know if SF64 3D will be called Lylat Wars 3D in Europe? On the German Nintendo page it says "StarFox 64 3D". It seems to be the final title, because there is no "working title" written to it (like to other games).
