I'm not saying that I only like games because of their graphics, I mean, look at SF64, my favorite game and it doesn't have the best graphics.

I actually like it, alot at that. I never play it, but I know how awesome it is.

Sonic Heroes isn't my favorite... but it was the first Sonic game I ever payed so I really appreciate its development.

I actually really like its soundtrack.

I liked how it brought back the Special Stages for getting the Chaos Emeralds.....Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle cut those out, making getting the Emeralds part of the story more then a challenge.

I liked using Team Rose to get to the Stages (once I figured out that having the Keys at the end of the Level would open them xD)

Previous games made the Emeralds part of the story line, like you collected them in a level or other characters had them

I actually got 100% on all modes at the beginning of summer! That game is pretty dang fun! :)

I really don't like the Special Stages, I prefer getting the chaos emeralds to be like Sonic '06

Back then, games DIDN'T have to be beatable! XD.  Really though, they got it right back then, but can't decide what Sonic want's to be right now, a platformer, original, maybe an FPS game, lol.

Totaly. Sonic has been made into many different types of games. Not saying they can't, just now they are messing around with different types rather than having an 'Ace in the Hole', so to speak, style.

I agree, but the only reason they constantly change is because crybaby "fans" won't shut up about how they hate new Sonic games.

Oh course. That is why I feel they should return to their roots a bit more and see how fans respond then.

No you are not up to date. The games I'm talking about are Sonic 4 and Sonic Colors, and they aren't out yet.
