I think it will be interesting having the homing attack in a 2-D like game.....damn the many times I try playing Sonic 2 or 3.....and double hit the "A" button to try to smash a nearby enemy xD

I don't have a Sega genesis....Or any of the other Sega games....(I've only recently become a fan of Sonic. and actually I think it be a rather wast of money if I got a Sega console for the sole purpose of playing Sonic games.) But I found out you can unlock the really old games in Sonic adventure DX. Which is AWESOME! :D

But I found out you can unlock the really old games in Sonic adventure DX. Which is AWESOME! :D

actually if oyu have a game cube....they came out with multiple sonic collection games that have a great variety on them...i have the mega collection...it has Sonic 1 2 and 3....as well as Sonic & Knuckles, Knuckles in Sonic 2 (and three) and a few more.

Am I the only one who's loving (let alone playing) Sonic 4 right now? I really like the iPhone version and can't wait until I can get the Wii version.

I think you might be the only one playing.

If you want my humble opinion, I think Sonic 4 is like a Genesis game released in the year 2010, which is bad. Technology is increasing so why are all these games not utilizing it?

it is more then that....it is story lines.....as the video that Crazy posted.....some of Sonic's games are nothing but running fast....nothing to really explore unless you know it is there.....and in others....there is a story line taking place.

Yeah, but story lines mean nothing if the game can't live up to the 21st century potential. We live in the year 2010, and there's no excuse for recycling old styles.

you do have a point, but then again look at some of today's modern games...wacky graphics that can make your eyes hurt......but people LOVE to play them -coughKatamariDymacycough-

Then that's an example of overdoing it. Game developers need to sit down, look at what New systems are capable of, and try to use it to help gameplay. But if you overdo it, then thats not good for anybody.

It also helps to not overdo it, then under do it like what they did with assassins creed 2, the graphics look horrible compared to the first one. Which had very good graphics but it wasn't over done by my standards.
