I may not play them often but they're still enjoyable. Sonic 4's been getting nothing but 4s or 5 out of 5s in the app store on iTunes, and Sonic Colors has looked promising since the day the teaser came out. I'd Say that the sonic franchise is getting back on track and personally, Sonic 06 had the potential to literally BE one of the best sonic games. it only came out half-arsed because Microsoft rushed it at the last possible second. These are modern, 21st century games. As far as I'm concerned, the "classic" Sonic titles don't fit in anywhere with the overall series story, so you could just forget about them.
