I loved Shadow the Hedgehog. Mainly because my favorite character is SHADOW.

Shadow's one of my favorites. I can do a great shadow voice. Other then that. thats why my username is shadow-fox.

Idk to agree or disagree because I didn't play that awful game that calls it's self Sonic the Hedgeog thats trying to compare to Sega's Genesis gem! =O

The game wasne't awful, It's playable and I've played games that are 1 million times worse than 06'

The only awful bits were the bugs and glitches and beastiality

And the voices and that tails throws rings instead of using his tails to attack.. Trust me there are a lot of problems with that rushed sonic game..

There are many problems, but I still enjoy it. Mainly because they made the graphics look semi-realistic. Now trust me, I'm not one to judge a game by graphics, but seeing a realistic Sonic game was pretty cool.

So I was finally able to pick up a copy of Sonic Colors (Colours). Would any of you nice people like to hear my first impressions?

Well as long as all one of you wants me to I better get right on that shouldn't I?

I've actually beaten the game already, there wasn't much to it at all. The controls took a little getting used to, seeing as (Gamecube Controller Controls) pressing A twice doesn't homing attack, it double jumps. You can only homing attack certain things with a target over it after you jump. I was a little disappointed at all the 2-D in the game. I originally thought it would be even between 3-D and 2-D. I also didn't like all the platforming that was required in the game. My favorite levels were the last few, because they didn't have much platforming and reminded me of levels you might see in Sonic Adventure 2 (The still best Sonic game in my mind). It took me awhile to get used to the voices, but when I did I had no problems with them. The story mode actually seemed to me like a satire of Sonic Games rather than a Sonic game, but, that's just me.

Overall, I think its pretty good and I think it should be picked up by new and old-school Sonic fans. I would give it an 8 out of 10.

Agreed, I still say Sonic Adventure 2 is the best one though.

I think with every Sonic game you have to master the controls. A lot of people would think sonic is frustrating but that's only true in half the cases. Most the time you just have to practice or upgrade Sonic's states like in Sonic Unleashed or Sonic and the Secret Rings. So really, Sonic can or more of IS very enjoyable in many cases. Though I agree Sonic is not one of those pick up and play characters like say Mario. You just have to master him as you do in many things in this world. I think Sonic Unleashed is my favorite Sonic game (at the moment) because it was fast paced, (for the day time levels anyway) very nice scenery, and just plain fun. It perfectly captures Sonic. Not to mention the controls are very easy to pick up and comfortable (for Xbox 360) and don't have you thrust your controller forward our tilt from side to side, as displayed in Sonic and the Secret rings. And it isn't on rails which is nice, because then it is MUCH easier to back up instead of tilting the Wii 'mote backward forcing you to back up blindly. I also never found it hard to find enough Sun/Moon medals either. Mainly you just have to be thorough in the Sonic the Warehog stages. Your going at a slow pace anyway, and I've always liked getting all the goodies in stages. And since I'm talking about Sonic Unleashed, I'd give the Warehog at least a C-

Anyway, I think I'll be getting Sonic 4 soon so would you guys recommend it? Cuz I mean, I don't wanna be getting trash. But I looked it up on Wikipedia and it says that it got a mixture of positive reviews. So I don't think it'll be bad.
