KokoaMinto
Sonic the Hedgehog is the reason why I started to draw, so it has a very important role in my life besides of Star Fox.Not all games of Sonic were the best, I'm honest as an fan of this franchise, but just because IGN and other people are saying "UHHHH this game SUCKKKKKS!!!" doesn't mean that it DOES suck, not at all. I have played mostly every game of Sonic, and I say they are A-OK. The best game at the moment is SONIC COLOURS, one of the best games that have been released this year.Instead of hearing all those bad critiques you should try to play it by yourself and make your own opinion about it. Nuff said.Though most of the games aren't shining in a bright light, I must say I'm a HARDCORE-FAN of the music. I love all staff members for that awesome music they put into this franchise, it's the reason why I'm hearing techno/pop/rock/metal music. Crush 40 is one of the wellknown members there, Jun Senoue as Guitarist and Johnny Gioeli for Vocals. I know everyone of the staff members name's and I'm proud of it to be a Sonic fan.Sonic Free Riders is a shame, the first games were even better than that, but I love the Opening Theme of it "Free". The original Version of this song is okay, but I have the Bonus Version of "Free" that was sung by Crush 40 which is just EPIC. I'm just listening to it now and love the lyrics! sjrathbun812
I ordered the Sonic The Hedgehog game, (2006) + a guide. So yeah, if the game gets annoying, at least I'll have a guide at hand.
Dublinthefox
I just got a copy of Sonic Colors and I haven't gotten used to it yet. The game play looks similar to that of Sonic Unleashed but the controls are a bit different.
Vixie Darkmatter
As long as it doesn't have anything like the werehog then I'm sure it's going to be pretty good.

Beau Skunk
There have been aliens in Sonic games for years now. With a series featuring stuff like mustached death stars, Super Saiyan hedgehogs, giant hedgehog-squashing big rig trucks, and such, that's nothing unusual. Vixie Darkmatter
Let's not forget the aliens in Shadow the Hedgehog. This'd be at least their second time having aliens.
DoctorAllosaurus
I feel dumb for just now realizing that Robotnik/Eggman is a Beatles reference.
sjrathbun812
Erm..How's that a Beatles reference?Edit: I just got Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 and it is just.......AWFUL. The story line sucks, the game-play sucks, the graphics are ok, but the animation is bad, and it's just..... Why on earth is Sonic suddenly in love with a retarded princess anyway?! It's just stupid. I should never have bought it......But at least I added it to my sonic collection..... :P and double :P
Beau Skunk
There's a Beetles song that goes something like, "I am the Eggman, I am the walrus." I don't know what it's called though. That may, or may not be how Dr. Eggman got his name. Most people who played it say, StH 2006 is one of the worst Sonic games ever. I haven't played it personally, but from what I've seen of it, it doesn't look as good as the other Sonic games. (The long loading screens don't look promising either.)I think most people would've tolerated Princess Elise (hey, that's my Mom's name!) alot more if she weren't human, and were an animal person instead. (Like Princess Sally from the old cartoon, or something.)

Right there at the end you kinda reset everything to how it was before the game even began. A little cheesy I'll admit, but I still found the game mostly enjoyable. The load screens is what annoyed me the most.

sjrathbun812
Erm...I just met with Knuckles...And now I'm in that base like place. One thing I actually think is interesting about this game is that it's kinda like SA, but it's also like Sonic Heros. (I haven't played Sonic Heros, but I have a gist of what it's like.) Vixie Darkmatter
The adventuring part of the game is pretty good, at the least it brings back the days of Sonic Adventure as you've pointed out.Sonic doesn't really start off moving too fast, and that hinders gameplay a little. Same for Shadow, sadly. A little more time could have been spent on gameplay, it might have made those loading screens understandable too.

Beau Skunk
Is that the official anniversary logo? It looks better then the 10th, & 15th ones. (Wich both looked pretty much the same.) Wonder if Sega has anything special planned for it this year. (Cool merchandice perhaps?)
sjrathbun812
Um...I have a question. I've been wondering, what type of shoes does Sonic ware? They aren't chucks, and they aren't tennis shoes, so what are they? I remember, in Sonic Unleashed, chip says that Sonic's shoes look awesome and he thinks that they were really famous at one point......
Beau Skunk
Some official sources just call them "sneakers," or "sneaker boots." I remember one of the old cartoons, Sonic called them "high-tops." They don't really look like high-top sneakers to me though.I heard Naoto ?shima (the guy who originally drew/designed Sonic) based the shoes off of Michael Jackson. Wich probably explains the huge strap, and buckle.
TGearfur
First Sonic game I loved was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, sadly that was also the last Sonic game I loved. Never been really been a Sonic fan. Sonic fans will NEVER be satisfied with anything Sega is ever gonna come out with.
