Anywho, I think certain staff members need to be equally strict to everyone, and not give others the stupid "Oh stop, silly " treatment to some, then be all strict to others. It doesn't matter if you "Know" they take your word to heart, because that is a load of bull, seeing how some people who get the nicer treatment don't change. It isn't fair.

It's pretty clear that you're talking about Robert, but I'm more interested in the first part there. I've never seen any staff come swiftly down on anyone. If there is one thing this place is NOT, it's strict. More over, the example you're showing us has to do with Robert, who like it or not is just that smart and good at debating. 95% of the time, people who don't like him only don't because he's right and proved it. Even if brash, everything he says has meaning behind it. Gentle warnings for him to cool it a little is totally called for.

There is no favoritism going on. Robert's getting exactly what he deserves and I haven't seen a single example yet of someone unfairly getting judgment cast upon them in contrast.

testinng out my new and totaly epic avatar i do...have a few recomedations. The Emperor of laylet and i have been wondering about a dual area section in the role play. there characters can duke it out. but...there will need to be refs(mods) and strict rules. I have seen this work out quite well in other forums.

I'm quite impressed with the staff of SFO, they have an organised system and actually give a crap about their people. Unlike some other forums I've been on, where the admins were knobs with a ban hammer that loved to pretend they were internet police.

You should take up this issue with the RP mods and then, if the idea is feasible, I'm sure they'd recommend it to the admins.

I get whacked with the perv hammer on a regular basis, but I actually like that.

It means I like DZ because he's objective, and Asper because he's reasonable.

You know i have to say, I'm amazed at how no matter where i go i can always find drama. Don't get me wrong, so far i haven't experienced and negativity on these boards. Honestly i have only got positive feedback, although my posts don't reach to far past my fanfic. I think the real problem is that people expect to have there ego's stroked while being able to do whatever the hell they please. Again, I'm not talking about anyone here but my general experience with drama starters. I'm a firm believer that if you have a problem with someone you talk IN PRIVATE with THAT PERSON. you don't go behind their back and you don't call them out on the spot to try and humiliate them. again, I'm not talking about anyone here. so far i think the rules can be summed up in one sentence. don't be an asshole. follow that one and your good. sorry if this became rant-ish but  was really just trying to show my support to those that have experienced problems and our mods that try so hard to support us.

There is drama everywhere, and personaly I don't see any point to it. As a sceptic I demand proof or a logical idea, and as a realist I don't expect to know everything. Unfortunatly, as I have said before, some people want the rest to be their personal yes man army.

A perfect example of this was in college where a gal asked for advice about if she should date this arse hole or not. Her friends all said no, so she stopped talking to them and went out with him anyway. Of course things started going down hill rapidly.

Imo, it's not a case of not being an arse hole, rather a case of don't ask the question if you can't cope with the answer.

I pay attention to all staff, DZ, Steve, Fira, Sylum, Asper though he's away for now, User and Dark Knight. It's worth paying attention to them all, not just the ones you're buddies with. :?

Didn't we have a fan art mod at one time?  Just curious.  I was cruising in the archives and I saw this one dude used to be online here, he was a "Fan Art Mod", I think...we probably don't need one right now, since the only trouble in that forum I know of was when the Mega Krystal Fanart thread got locked.

Is there really any reason that we need more Full Mods? Isn't 4 just about enough? We had some former RP mods (*cough*DARKKNIGHT*cough*) that are now Full Mods, ok granted there is 2 RP mods (No problem.) but...why get more Full Mods though?
