The gameinformer article has a link to the original article, which has a link to the ended Ebay auction.  This NES, nothing special about it, with no rare games, sold for $50,000 dollars.  Whether or not the buyer paid is another story

I rather pay $50,000 just for a SEALED Nintendo 64 with ALL games included.

Fix'd

I feel bad for whoever bought it

Don't worry, it got updated, and the person who bought it didn't pay for it O_o.  It's been relisted for $35,000

Well, sounds like the buyer got some sense beaten into him :P

The seller put it back up for $35,000?? Is he serious?

Apparently, judging by the item description.  There isn't anything special about this console either, it's not in box, it doesn't have any special games, and it's not signed by anyone notable.

So is he just doing this for no reason? I wonder if he thinks it will actually sell O_o

Well, to me, my original NES is a lot to me, but idk anyone who could possibly think that is a proper amount for it.

Sounds like he really needs the money for serious things. I wonder how much is true

Maybe the buyer could be James Rolfe, the ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD.

Well, he does already almost have every single game and accessory for the NES, so.......MAYBE IT WAS THE NOSTALGIA CRITIC!

Whoops, you're right .  Those two episodes were kinda intertwined, weren't they? Bah, I dunno, but I did like where the Nerd completely decimated Jason's head with an NES Zapper!

Ok, for safety, one of us will make a AVGN thread so we can talk about the nerd, his episodes and post some of his videos there.

Lets get back on topic before Juilus cuffs me.
