Ok, for safety, one of us will make a AVGN thread so we can talk about the nerd, his episodes and post some of his videos there.

Lets get back on topic before Juilus cuffs me.

That'll be fun (the thread, not the cuffing ) Also, Sissi, Asper, or User would probably be more likely to cuff you, as Julius has jurisdiction over the RP board

Well lets resuscitate this thread

The seller of the NES is desperate for money, but he should probably

obtain it through more reasonable prices.

Yeah....The most that bundle could even DREAM to go for fairly is around $200, if he's lucky.  I feel bad for him, I believe he actually thinks he's going to get 35,000 dollars for an ancient piece of hardware (No offense NES!, your awesome! :D)

I'd say $200 is definitely a realistic price. Maybe more, seeing that

he has a considerable amount of games and accessories in the bundle.

Yeah, in the proper auction setting with a good starting point, that thing will go fast! :D

Although I do not think he's in good condition for an auction, it

looks like his money situation is pretty tight right now.

Yeah, although if he really needs that $35,000, he better find some more stuff to sell, because there is no way anyone is going to buy that thing, except the odd prankster that ends up not paying.

Probably someone using a fake account to screw up someone's day.

Yeah most likely. Must've threw the seller for a ride when he saw it was bought though Lol

If the story is true, I feel pretty bad for the seller, having his hopes get up, and then smashed apart.

I just took a look at that guys situation. That does bite, and I feel really bad for him, but at one point he must realize that it won't sell for that much. Only some crazed billionaire would buy that, if even!

Yeah, like we've agreed earlier, he's better off selling it around $200 instead

of that outrageous price.

(Offtopic for a second: Haha, I've been just randomly staring at your avatar Fureox, it's calming somehow )

Yeah, he really needs to see things from a potential buyer's point of view.  At that price, he's dipping into a tiny buyer circle.  In that condition, it's brought down even smaller, to just the random rich person that feels the need to help someone out.  The seller has to realize that it's not going to happen like that.  I feel bad for him though.

(hehe you're right it's mesmerisingly calming O_o)

I still wonder how true is story is too. You never know if it's true

or if it's just some guy asking for publicity.

You know, I never thought of that. I know it is bad to say, but he could be doing it just to make some news headline or something. At that price, I just don't know.

Yeah, I'd feel even worse for the buyer if this was a hoax!

If there ever is a buyer. At those prices i doubt it :?

(GAAAH! IT'S LICKING MY SOUL!!!)

Yeah, there is such a minuscule chance of anyone even taking a second look at the thing once they see the price.

Well, what i meant was like get his name in media. But yeah, if it was a hoax, I would feel bad for the one who felt sorry for him and bought it.

Oh yeah, that too.  Hey, I just realized something.  It was first sold for $50,000.  In the 1980s movie "The Wizard", whatever that kid's name was, he got 50,000 points on the NES version of Double Dragon.  Haha, I'm surprised I remember that.
