I know this might sound weird, but in most other element categories, Lightning/electricity is part of the air element. It just so happens that in the show it is based off the fire type.

Air, imagine forcing excessive amounts of air down someone's throat, drawing all the air from their body and not allowing them any more, or creating high speed winds in an area the same diameter of a needle. Would slice flesh and bone better than any alloy could.

could control lighting, in reality lighting

has nothing to do with fire at all. Yes,

lighting shocks can set trees to fire,

but that is the result of the collision between

the high-speed thunder and the tree's top.

I like to control water and air. Waters as thin, bladed swords can cut almost anything, and preventing air from getting anywhere near my enemy would kill him.

But out of ALL elements I'd pick water and air too, but with the addition of grass/leaf. Nature power FTW!!!!
