Also, since the light will shine on only the one to suffer an "untimely demise", everyone else standing or passing by the lobby should not be shined on by the sun, or another light source." "Ok, now we know what we're up against, and if anyone doesn't have a AA defense weapon with them, I say we RUN!" (Or attempt to run in Zeke's case). Zeke knew he wouldn't be able to make it to the safety of the windowless hallway in time. He also knew that if anyone tried to carry him, they'd both be cut down in the process.
