God knows the Wii didn't stand a chance with the competitors of the 360 and PS3. You are free here to discuss which console you think is more dominant. In my opinion, the PS3 :)

PS3 really has everything the 360 has, except for many of the reliability problems, paying for online, Micro$oft, etc.  But it pales in comparison to SUPER NINTENDO! MWAHAHA! :D

The PS3 is more quieter, unless you leave it on for a while and the fan comes on

And the PS3 has way better graphics! :)

And again with that  Ignorance is a bliss.

Wii's good, 360's good, PS3's good and the PC's good. Gamers...well, they are either too worried about being a fanboy or they just play things. Pewpewpewpew!  :P

Personal tastes prevail sometimes, though, which is why I'm choosing the 360 on this poll.

My vote doesn't completly count since I don't own a 360, But I'd still prefer the PS3 since it doesn't require a subscription in order to play online.....

I more of a PS3 person. There are only a handful of games I like for Xbox.

Yeah that's one reason why I chose PS3. Charging people to play online is just plain wrong.

Steve I do agree with you that the Wii is good. Just not as good as the PS3 or 360, only because the wii doesn't really have any amazingly awesome games, a few, but not many (SSBB, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)

Well okay maybe a few

But the graphics bring some things down hill, some gamers out there love the graphics, and games, and online at the same time. So why not the PS3? :)

The whole reason for why I pointed "the wii's good, the 360's good, etc, etc" it's because we all have different perspectives. I have played  all the three consoles, and I still prefer the wii, but that's my whole own personal choice (I don't have any waggle games, unless you count wii sports, but that's bundled so  ).  HD graphics are not that amazing, I personally would take a good game with a nice art style, such as Muramasa, over a powerhouse, like, let's say, Uncharted 2 or FFXIII.

Games....well, like I said, it's a personal choice, I don't really have the resources to be buying games all the time, a few per year, let's say 2-3 on average. And still, there's nothing on the other consoles that would really call my attention, enough to invest on them. Most of the stuff I want comes on the PC, or Wii . And finally...online, sadly, the PC takes the cake on this (again, personal choice), mostly because I prefer mouse and keyboard combo for RTS and FPS games (I would consider my laptop's gfx power to be 1/3 of that of the 360, so it's nothing amazing)

Thanks to the wii, the PS3 and the 360 are pulling the "innovation" tactic, which is really, really nice. If I was into the "waggle really matters" and "I love HD graphics" I would definitely go buy a ps3 (if I had the money) or the 360, however, it's not the hardware, but the software what I'm really looking for, and Nintendo keeps nailing that, the big guns from Sony and Microsoft are not really, that interesting, again this is all a personal choice.

I would love to have all the consoles and get the best of each , but since I only own the Wii, due to money reason, I'll keep adding the best games I can find, to my library. At the end, the whole reason of my first post was because I personally find pointless to go "eeeeeee the "X" console is not as good as the "Y" console" when it all comes to personal tastes. Cause if we really go for "which gaming device has the best hardware" then the PC will take the cake, and there's no point on discussing that.

As you can see, I'm really, really anti-fanboyish  :P, I don't like hearing "hey, nintendo is going down, or the 360 really suck, blahblahblah" so my bad. And of course, I hope I made clear I don't hate the PS3. As a matter of fact, the day I move from dvd to bluray, I'll probably end up buying a ps3, since it's only a few dollars more expensive than a conventional player

Which you don't have to actually do, because I have one, making this paragraph moot. :P

I actually deleted a sentence that said "If you count Sissi, then I have a PS3 too ;)" but I found it kinda pointless since I don't have it all the time.

Steve, you're so fun to argue with, you make my day

First of all, Uncharted 2 (PS3 game )

And yes, it's technically a matter of opinions, but the topic isn't about getting about to the last detail of how it's technically all about opinions, it's what people's opinions are, it's to make argumants. So people can just tell why they think this console is better than this console. So people can express their inner opinions about their favorite of the leading next gen game systems. :)

You're the man Steve :)

Playstation 3!

Smart man Julius, smart man. ;)

Yeah?, what led you to believe I didn't mean it was a PS3 game? or what did you mean?.

I wouldn't be taking so much out of this, but the fanboyism over the forum is raising quite a little bit (don't worry, we are planning to implement a subforum for each console someday) . And if we are discussing about this generation of consoles, why isn't the wii included then? does it need to have HD to be considered "current generation"?, we had a topic just about the overall dealing of consoles, why are we ditching it then?. This topic should be called "your favorite HD console" , in which case, the 360 and PS3 should only be considered. It's funny, you said "So people can express their inner opinions about their favorite of the leading next gen game systems", facts and numbers will show you otherwise.

Steve, I know that the Wii is awesome, I love it, I adore it, but the reason why the Wii isn't included is because the graphics just don't compete with the 360 or PS3, and all gamers, some anyways, know that graphics are wanted, maybe not to you (or you and you and you) but I, and other gamers, like da graphics. They're important. To some extent. And you don't have any hard core ass kicking games on the wii, sure some COD titles, and maybe a hunting gane or too, but some, not all, but some gamers like the gore .

And Steve, I don't  know if you know, but I consider you a buddy

So if it will make you happy, I'll make a whole different topic and include the Wii. :)

Nah, it's fine, whenever it comes to "let's put the Wii as a kid's toy" it kinda turns something in my brain that makes me go into debating mode. I browse the IGN forums, and trust me, the arguments there are really something else, and I would hate to see the same behavior here xP so I get all paranoid, again, my bad.

While the wii might be....40% full of software for kids, 20% full of random "lololol fitness" and 30% full of shoveware, the last 10% is really worth a shot, and that's the small percentage I'm defending, which is about 20-40 games :P

Well, I recommend a Xbox 360 though the chances of FAILURE are pretty high...

Should be fixed with the new model tho, I've heard Microsoft did nail something right with the so called "360 slim"  :P

To be honest, I really never heard of the Xbox 360 'Slim' until my brother showed me his new Xbox 360. New model, not like mine because I got the arcade console but...what really erks me is now you no longer need to get a Xbox 360 memory card or a hard drive but insted, a USB thumb-drive.

Games on the Xbox 360...hasn't been any good ones out there yet except Modern Warfare 2 and HALO: Reach (whenever it is out...)

XBox and PS3... I can't choose...... Both good consoles and both have good games.

However I've heard that Microsoft is planning a motion-sensored Xbox in the future.

I'd have to gorrect you there. But before I list, are we including games that are on PC or not? I'm guessing no since you think the 360 Version of MW2 is good.
