I grew up in Los Angeles, California but now currently reside in this nowhere place about an hour's drive north of my former home called Palmdale. It's big, it's flat, it's a desert, and it's hell on my sinuses. And the last time it rained, it flooded and turned a street right next to my house into a river, because we're lame and don't have storm drains.

I'm in Baldwin County Alabama. :P You may live in a state tarnished by the oil spill, but it's in my "backyard", so to speak.

(For those that don't know, Baldwin and Mobile counties are the two southernmost sections of Alabama. The parts that kinda look like manly parts if your mind's in the gutter.)

Our beaches are covered in oil. *millions of sad faces*

Man...I went to Mobile last year! It looked so beautiful then. :( I hate BP right now.

I live in Buffalo, NY the fastest dying city in America

Having been to Buffalo many times, mainly to fly out of Buffalo-Niagara International Airport when I travel, I can safely say that Detroit is a faster dying city compared to Buffalo. :)

Thats not that far away from me. Well actually we are both on the opposite sides of the state. But who cares, we're brothers of the cornland.  :P

None of SF-O's freaking business.

Are we a little bit too cranky today? If you believe  that, then don't post on this topic. Kinda pointless, uh?

I love Mobile. :) It still looks pretty there, there are just those nets in the Bay for catching oil.

I'm going to college in Mobile in a few weeks. :D

Was born in Fort Knox Army Hospital, and lived in Louisville Kentucky for a good time before having to move around the country as they transferred my dad from base to base.

I miss Kentucky....

I'm from Alabama and live there, too. Although I hate it here, hardly ever snows... *sigh* We haven't gotten any good snow for like 10 years.. :(

I want to move to St. Louis. :D

I'm from TN and it snows sometimes here, but there's this one part of the state, a county actually, where when I get a heavy frost where I live, that county gets out. ha :)
