There may be a virus roaming SFO

He's the one wasting his own time, not us. DZ has this place tight up with a lot of security + he does plenty of backups, so even if there's a  slight chance we get "attacked" and it works, the backups will bring the site again.

Don't fall for paranoia.

Again he has a hacker friend so you never know, also the Brutus virus is a password hacker for e-mails and forum passwords, you might want to protect that.

Besides his pathetic attempt to hack SFO, he's trying to get people to flame this "racist" forum. Check out the link he sent me.

Your AVG Free is a good antivirus.

Not 100/100 effective, but I can say

it is 85/100 at least.

It is a shame he is still like

that. Maybe it is true his parents

are dummies, he kind-of-mentioned

that once.

BUT, you just can not blame everyone

for how your family is. Julius, for example,

has said several times before his family

sucks and he is not a bad guy by any means

(just too far on the right of the political spectrum,

which makes him my cold-ware rival :P ).

Getting revenge won't get him what he wants. He'll eventually fall, and fail.... miserably, if time allows it.

But those were back in June when the hole 'Pointing the finger' thing was going around here.

You can't just "instantly" hack into something, that's not how the world turns. As long as you don't have a stupid password, like "123456789" or "qwerty" or anything like that, then you are fine. Most of the "so called" password buster programs run a lot of random combinations based on the user name or data, they also do random searches, so if you have a password like "GPA2398trueman" then  it's highly unlikely to get caught by stuff like that.

That's Actually one of the Last Places I would Ever Expect to find Him, But It Seems fortunate that it was locked that and He forgot give enough info on what he was talking about.

He should have thought twice about trying to hack this site.

I'd be impressed if he can get a password if it's 200-characters long. And only with a single program like that.

He's sending me messages (via YouTube) saying he'll hack SF-O. I'm attempting to ask the reasons for those future actions.

Well he is in here as a guest. He keeps saying how happy he is of his so called "hack". I just blocked him from my facebook friends. He just really got on my nerves with his gloating.

The only thing he's going to get is DZ pissed off. And he can take legal action against him, even if he does nothing, since DZ pays for this site. We have his IP recorded, thus, his location can be pinned out by the local authorities.

Resulting in...? (Sorry, I try not to follow in these kind of things.)

Resulting in a pretty big law suit.

This is nothing but scare tactics on Matt's behalf, just ignore him.

Resulting in authorities taking care of the issue? I'm sure SMF takes legal action against people that do this kind of stuff. Again, all he's doing for now is bluffing. DZ is way more experienced in this area than me, so he will probably clear some things out, specially for people being paranoid.

I still think DZ's more than a match for Matt when it comes to this...

I am not expert at this, but I can help.

Basically:

1] No software is free of bugs.

2] Software bugs are the key to get in.

The trouble is, to hack something, to find

a bug, you have to have EXTENSIVE coding/progamming

knowledge. Furthermore, if he is trying to 'upload' a virus,

that attempt is more likely to backfire, resulting in his

own computer getting infected. As far as I know, viruses

are not tame animals, they are wild programms.

Just like any other programm, a virus can be found and deleted

or even stopped from uploading/downloading at all, if you have

a good antivirus/firewall.

All he is doing now is to try to call attention.

"Do not mess with me, because I'm bad" - that is all

the is trying to say. Unfortunately for him, his true strenght

is clearly visible, and we all know he is hurt for being banned,

but all of this would only make him even-more banned.

Me? I am allways well-shielded. Windows Firewall turned on,

ESET NOD32 on max settings [reducing a bit system performance,

but I am willing to accept that]. Let the viruses come, we can

squash them to tiny bits before they know what hit them.

This was actually kinda surprising to me... After that 'incident' Matt and I had been talking on various sites and we got to the point to where we went from arguing to settling it and moving on. But now, it's all just gonna happen again. Heck, he even said he knew he wasn't coming back here and he didn't really want to anyway. For as he -kind of- stated that he read some comments and wasn't going to deal with it...

I'm talking about the legal stuff  :P , I know the hips and cups about hacking, I'm referring to the fact that DZ knows more about laws that I.

Poor Matt. He's really screwed up his chances of coming back. To think

he had only a month or two left of punishment

If he is resorting to these kind of things, whether he's serious or just being a wannabe hardass, I don't think we would have wanted him back anyway.
