:mod: We're picking up from The Lylat Luxury Hotel: Part 3

http://forums.starfox-online.net/index.php?topic=7980.1500 :mod:

Todd and Lola were in one of the luxury penthouse suites, watching a movie Lola was recently starring in...it was made to look like an old, film noir, black and white film mobster flick...

Lola was a showgirl and a mobster's girlfriend, in this scene she was wearing a fancy cocktail dress, with expensive jewelery, and walking into a mobster's living room.

"Hold it right there!" the mobster said.  He was a mean looking silver fox with a scar on the left side of his face (a fake scar worn by the actor).  "It's me, Johny...'Gardenias'...your favorite!" Lola's character said.  "I knew it was you..I could smell ya' gettin' off the elevator!" said Johny the mobster.

He puffed on his cigar and said "You was here last night, too, wasn't ya'!?" he said to Lola's character, 'Gardenias', the showgirl.  "I was...singing at the 'Blue Monkey' last night." Gardenias said.

"Was that before, or after you was here...smoochin' my brotha'!?" sneered Johnny.  "Johnny...you know you're the only one for me!" said Gardenias, her voice trembling.  "Don't gimmie that!  You been smoochin' with everybody!  Snuffy!  Al!  Little Moe with the gimpy leg!  Cheeks!  Bony Bob!  Cliff!  I could go on forever baby!" Johnny pulled out a hyper laser sub-machine gun.  Gardenias gasped at the sight of the gun.  "Johnny!  You're the only duck in my pond!" she said.  "Get down on your knees and tell me ya' love me!" said Johnny.  "If my love was the Lylat System...Pepper would hafta take two spaceships to get across it!" said Gardenias.

"Maybe I'm off my hinges...but I believe ya'...that's why I'm gonna let ya' go!" said Johnny.  "I'm gonna give ya' to the count of three, to get your lousy...lyin'...two-timin' fore-flushin' keester out my door!  One...two..." Johnny shot at Gardenias as she fled, Johnny laughed maniacally as he fired the sub machine gun into Gardenias, killing her.  "....THREE!"  said Johnny, using his newer M.O. of how he always executed people.  "Merry Christmas, ya' filthy animal!" said Johnny.  He fired more shots into Gardenias' corpse.  "..and a Happy New Year!" he said, and then he fired one more shot into Gardenias' corpse.

"Whoa..." Todd said.  "I liked filming that part of the movie the best!" said Lola.

THe doors softly spin as an unfamilliar figure takes its first steps into the hotel. He does nothing but look around and take in his surroundings. A large coat and a wide brimed hat hide his most distinguishable features

Walking to a chair, it sits down simply waiting for something, if anything.

"May i ask what services you offer?" Nomine said, large hands scratching an inch under its large hat.

"This is a hotel, we offer plenty of things including a place to stay, food, entertainment and the like" Replied an anthro cat behind the counter

Nomine nodded his head

"all i require is a room, and food from what you have said you can provide for both."

He began to take off his hat, but stopped him self, silently grabbing a bag from his pockets.

"how much do i owe you?" his mechanical voice said

"That will be 10 credits per night, 20 usd, 2000 yen, and so on" He said as he pointed to a conversion chart with every type of currency

Nomine removed his hat from his head. his elongated read turning to gaze at the hotel walls.

"im sure you accept these"

nomine said as he removed 200 USD from his pocket.

Displaying them on the desk he held his hand out, long bone like fingers tapping against the granite.

"Thank you sir, your room is 139" He said as he gave Nomine his key

Nomine grinned, a strange sight to behold on a xenomorphs face, and took the key

"Thank you my kind sir" The mechanical box around his throat said with an air of sarcasm.

With a covert swear and several promised visits to the junk yard, Nomine hauled himself to the elevator, looking around warily as the doors clossed around him.

After spilling out of the elevator, Nomine walked to his number. After several attempts to open the door it finally creaked open, allowing Nomine a breif source of rest and shelter.

Zeke decided to head over to the firing range to test out his new-found happiness.  He noticed Arashikage at the front desk, and stopped to say hi.  "Hey Arashikage!", greeted Zeke.

I have no idea why he left so fast. Gearhart thought to himself while placing his cellphone in his pocket. Might as well see what is going on.

Zeke decided to continue walking toward the firing range, he had to blow off some steam, was eager to test his new weaponry, and had to think of the predicament his friends were in.

Gearhart decided to go get something to eat. He left his medicine in his room and walked out of his now door broken room.

Zeke began unloading rounds in his M1911, it gave much more kick than a blaster, and had less of an ammo capacity, but it punched MUCH bigger holes into the targets.  And since most of the defenses in the Lylat System were developed for blasters, an actual firearm would pierce shielding designed for plasters easily.  Zeke was smiling all the way through his target practice, he enjoyed these types of weapons much more than blasters.  He decided to phone Gearhart to see if he wanted to join him.  "Hello, Gearhart?"

Gearhart saw that it was Zeke calling and picked up. "Yeah, Zeke?" He still had a down tone to him, but it was covered a bit due to the phone static.

"Hey Gearhart, meet me in the firing range, Arashikage is here too, just put all differences aside and shoot.", Zeke said into the phone as he hung up and went over to Arashikage. "Thanks for recommending these!", Zeke said to Arashikage, brandishing an M1911, and showing another in a concealed holster.

"Heh, any time" Arashikage said opening his 1911 box, Arashikage's colt 1911 has a picatinny rail at the bottom and a tac light attached to it, it has a black grip and trigger and the rest is tan

(Oooh! Nice! :D)

Zeke admired Arashikage's accessories on his 1911, although Zeke enjoyed a much more stripped down version, that stayed true to the Earth's World War II version.  The only modification made was the addition of a tactical rail.

I'm not even good with a gun... He thought. "Fine." he said to himself while walking over to the firing range and went to the complete other side, to give Arashikage as much space as he wanted. He used the gun Zeke gave him a while back, seeing as he didn't have one of his own. He fired a shot or two to start, and none even hit the target. "Ugh..." He muttered under his breath.

Zeke hadn't noticed that Gearhart had entered, but when he started hearing random blaster shots, he knew who it was.  "I'll be right back Arashikage", Zeke said as he sprinted over to Gearhart's position.  "Hey Gearhart, need any help with your shooting?"

Gearhart was very concentrated, but he heard Zeke. "No, I'm just not too good at it. I have been working on it with others for a while now." He said while firing another couple shots. One scraped the target, the other missed.

"If you've been going at it for a long time, but still can't hit anything, try switching hands!", Zeke advised, "You may just have the wrong side".
