The Lylat Luxury Hotel: Part 4

Zeke's tail began to heavily thump against the wall.  He hadn't woken up yet, but the sound of his tail became louder and louder.

Eventually, the hound stumbled his way back into the lobby, with a liquor bottle in his hands.  "Huh? Whuzzat?!?", he thought, looking toward the damaged and abandoned automobile.  He eventually passed out, partially from the thinking, but mostly from the booze.

(Okay, the dog that knows how to hot wire, and drive well enough to turn it around and ram it into the hotel, is not smart enough to realize he is going to get kicked out and into jail for this. )

Rynian saw Zeke's response started rubbing her chest against his while continuing the kiss.

Zeke eventually began to move slightly, and his tail continued the knocking against the wall.

"Forget it, Zeke. You can wait." She said, getting a little upset at him while getting into the bed. She remembered she was going to call Kazi, but she felt like putting that off for a tiny bit.

As Zeke finally arrived downstairs, he couldn't help but stare in awe for a moment.  A late model sedan was crashed into the side of the bus in the lobby.  It's alarm was going off, the hound was asleep next to it, and it was leaking oil.  He facepalmed himself after taking it all in.  "It HAD to be MY car!", he yelled, trying to vent his frustration.  He eventually gave up, disabled the alarm by cutting a wire under the hood, swearing up a storm, and slowly walking back upstairs.  He sat outside the room door for a minute, his head in his hands.  He was annoyed beyond belief, but wanted to get it out of his system before he entered the room.

"my...home" Egor said, faling to his knees. He had been out doing some business in the downtown area and had returned, fully expecting to get to go to sleep on his bed. Instead his precious bus was...oh god. his eyes began to water, his hands covering them. When he removed his hands, rage was apparent in his eyes. It was simple to get to the top of the bus and when he did, he roared with fury, his accent becoming more and more apparent

" 'HO THE 'ELL' DID THIS TOH ME HOME?" HE shouted, throwing his entire body into his rage.

Zeke finally awoke in the crevice between the bed and wall.  He tried wriggling out of his position, but to no avail.  He eventually fell to the floor, and sat up.  He could only think of three things; Rynian, his wrecked vehicle, and the damages caused by the hound; the front desk and bus.

"Looks like someone's up." Ryn noted aloud, making sure to keep herself covered this time.

"Morning Ryn", Zeke replied, poking his head up from the floor.  "Sorry about last night", he continued sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh, it's fine." Ryn lied. "So, did you want to head over with me when taking the car to see if my friend will fix it?"

"Unless there's some industrial duct tape and motor oil around here, I don't think that'll happen", he replied, saddened by this.  That car had been with him for quite some time, and it was devastating for it to be almost completely destroyed.  "Oh, might wanna check on the front desk and the bus in the lobby, I hope that hound didn't cause too much damage..."

"Hun, I could care less about the lobby." She said while thinking to herself. Eh, I could always call Kazi and get him to take the car when Zeke wasn't here...

"Come to think of it, Egor's gonna be pissed...", he thought aloud, thinking of the metal grinding against metal when the two vehicles collided.  He laid his head in his hands once again.  He learned to drive in that car, and had so many memories in it.

"Okay, well when are you going to stop moping and do something?" She asked, not realizing that he had memories in that car. Rynian didn't have any good memories in vehicles, mainly they were used to run away. She never kept the same vehicle for more than four days.

He continued to sulk, and shed a small tear over the matter.  That car meant quite a bit to him.  "Ryn....if you don't mind...I'm gonna go say goodbye", he mumbled, slowly standing and walking out, toward the lobby.

Rynian rolled her eyes. She got up, still naked and grabbed her phone from her jacket. She punched in a number. "Heya. Yeah, this is Rynia. I know, I know... I should have checked in. Listen, there is this car that is important for the mission, do you think you could look at it? Okay... Yeah, I can afford that. I'll get a tow-truck to get it to you.... Alright, thanks again. See ya."

Charles woke up with a start. He got up, realized that all he saw were all a dream, and he went downstairs to the lobby.

Zeke eventually got to the lobby, and was much more saddened by what he saw.  His car had been smashed into one of the walls, into the bus, and into the front desk.  The bus had an extremely large dent in it, and it was shifted slightly.  The front desk was knocked loose from it's moorings and was in between his vehicle and the wall.  There was broken glass everywhere.  He found the driver-side mirror from his car, and cradled it, shedding another small tear.

Hours later Egor reapeared. He was bristleing with anger, an ambivolent BAlsa and a curious Nomine behind him.

"WHICH ONE OF YOU DID THIS!" egor shouted, pointing a gloved hand towards the totaled bus and car.

Nomine whistled than said "its obviously not us. I dont know how to drive, and Balsa live with you."

Egor tensed, his mind refusing to stop hating. Grabbing Balsa by her coller, he pulled her down to his height and said

"FIND. OUT." Nodding gleefully, Balsa tore off in a random direction, nomine at her heels.

How much do tow-trucks cost right now... She thought while looking at her wallet. Well, I should be able to afford it all. There goes my part of money for a vacation... She added while getting up and dressing. She moved to the bathroom and started grooming a bit while she called and made arrangements for the car to be picked up. Now, just to stall Zeke for fifth-teen minutes...

As he slowly approached the remnants of his once prized possession, each area held a memory which he'd never forget.  That small dent on the rear fender was from his first time trying to back out of a driveway.  The paint scuff near the tire was when he had a flat on the freeway.  Other than this though, the rest of the vehicle was in shambles.  The rearview mirror hung from a thread, and none of the glass was intact.  The body was bent, and much of the undercarriage was hanging off.  All he could do was drop to his knees, and slam his fist into the sheet metal in frustration.

As Charles went to the lobby he saw Zeke, another figure, and a bit of destruction.

"What happened here?"

Well, I could just flash him... That would work. She thought while roaming the halls. Naw... I want him awake. Food sounds good though. She added while coming close to the lobby.

"can you tell me what happened? My house is destroyed..."

"It's that....hound's fault", he managed to mutter in an icy tone.  He didn't turn to face anyone, and continued reminiscing about the times he had in his car.

Ryn finally made her way to the lounge, and saw the mess. "Ouch!" Eh, my bombs could do worse... She walked closer to Zeke. "Well, Who wants lunch? It's on me." She said while putting her arm around Zeke. "And you are coming whether you like it or not." She whispered in his ears.
