"What?" Cel asked, feigning brief confusion.  As if a light turned on, the tiger let out a little "ohh", turning back to Butch.  "Yep, Bri and I are a couple." he announced proudly.

For a few seconds Butch looked like he wanted to beat the living crap out of Cel but he regains his composure "Oh really now, you know, Bri and I had a real thing for each other in high school" He said

"You know that isn't true" Bri said, appalled yet not surprised that Butch would say something like that "I wanted to focus on my grades in high school"

Cel only gave a light shrug in response to the lion's claim, though his tail was twitching apprehensively behind him.  "Things didn't work out, eh?  Well, no hard feelings.  I'm sure there's someone out there for you."

'And that special someone isn't Bri.'

"Trust me, I believe you..." Cel replied, his gaze remaining on where Butch was last seen walking away, "but I can't help but wonder what he meant by 'you'll see'..."

The wolf opened the door, and noticed one or two other guests were there already and threw on a great happy expression; His smile back, ears up, eyes open. He slowly got into the pool and just relaxed for the time being.

"If I know Butch, he's going to start hitting on me like he did in high school" Bri said

With a light sigh, the tiger thought, 'Dang it...but I shouldn't worry...Bri wouldn't do anything with him.'

The ligress' fidelity was a comforting thought.  Butch's determination, even only as much as Cel caught in the lion's eyes, was quite the opposite.

"Well, just stay by me, 'kay?  He wouldn't try anything much then...right?"

After thinking for a few long, quiet seconds, Cel looked at Bri and smiled.  "Well, at least I know I don't have to worry about you."

After all, she said herself that she hated the lion, right?

Even though he felt it was true already, it was a relief to hear.

Forcing the thought of Butch and his approach out of his mind, Cel said, "So on a better note, you're sure you're fine on the couch?"

"Hmmm...." The wolf sighed while closing his eyes and enjoying the pool. I wonder what there is to do around here... Or maybe I should focus more on getting a job somewhere close to here. He looked around the pool area as an idea popped into his mind.

As this was happening, a bear(Why are all my characters slightly intimidating?) Approaches the desk wearing a black suit and a fedora with a nametag that said Tark Larmstein on it "Hey, I just recently got a job here and I was wondering if you could tell me where I was assigned?" He said

Although he was going to respond to the ligress, work must come first...most of the time.  Besides, it was a good question to ignore.

"Well, hold on just a moment for me." Cel told the bear, quickly looking his name up on the computer.  After a few seconds the search came up with the desired results, verifying Tark as an employee.  Wearing a light grin as he noticed the bear's assignment, Cel said, "Sir Larmstein, it says that you're job is here at the desk.  Would you like to take your shift now?"

The wolf got up from his soak. He started with shaking out his fur then drying off with a towel. He had an idea for a job, but was wanting to solve his hunger issue. He walked from the roof, through the doors, and into the eighth floor. He got to his room and got into new clothes. Once he was ready, he came out and started down the stairs.

The Hybrid lied trying to keep a straight face as she let go Airi's hand grabbing Krystal's and pulling her a couple of feet away from the Elevator doors...

"Listen..." Sarah begun to reply in low tone and a blank as possible state of mind to try and keep Airi from listening in... "I know want to try and help her, but as you've seen already she's very cautious when being open when to new people... so... please just give her some time to get to know you a bit... its just a little to early ask personal questions like that..." the Hybrid explained before looking back over in Airi's direction but still contiued to talk quietly....

"We've already had an argument revolving around the subject..."

From the middle of the dining hall, Barca woke with a start. driving herself to her feet, while destroying furniture. giving a gleefull yip, she tore off in search of pettings.
