The look on Flux's face showed not sadness, but of depression. (Yes it sounds weird, but there is a difference) Very different than from when he was in the halls. He just felt he needed to be there for some reason.

Aria sat next to Flux on the couch, concerned for her friend

Flux chuckled. "I'm sorry. You just picked a really bad time in my life to become my friend then. I know it sounds cruel, but I just can't get over him. I'm sorry."

"Well I just want you to know, I'll be here for you" Aria said

"Well, that was Nomine, Balsa and the others." Arashikage said as he climbed up the ladder again and dove into the pool

"Friends of yours?" Neo asked him once he surfaced.

"Well I just want you to know, I'll be here for you" Aria said

Flux shook his head. "Yeah... You can do that if you want... But there is only one person right now to be here for me, and now he probably thinks I am just some desperate loser."

"So I see." He chuckled. "I haven't really seen a dinosaur as a pet, but I heard such concept did exist. As for Nomine...well I would be lying if I said I saw her kind before."

"But you aren't a desperate loser" Aria said "If he left you in the first place, he isn't worth your time"

Flux turned over to Aria. "Does it look like I care? Other than me being your friend, what is your reason for trying to help me with all of this?"

"Well then, I'm sorry I'm making you sad." Flux answered, not really caring about anyone right now.

"But I can tell I'm not helping, and you couldn't care less about what I'm saying right now" Aria said, a small tear forming in her eye as she stands up and heads for the stairs

"No don't-" Flux started as he got up and ran after her. "I'm just not in a good mood is all. I'm not myself, and just need time. I have already lost all my friends here, practically. Everyone I have interest already has someone, or doesn't even give a second thought as to being with me. I know you might not have gotten those in the first place, but let me tell you... It hurts a lot when everything is taken away and you have nothing to fight for anymore."

"No don't-" Flux started as he got up and ran after her. "I'm just not in a good mood is all. I'm not myself, and just need time. I have already lost all my friends here, practically. Everyone I have interest already has someone, or doesn't even give a second thought as to being with me. I know you might not have gotten those in the first place, but let me tell you... It hurts a lot when everything is taken away and you have nothing to fight for anymore."

"I was trying to help you, It felt really bad when you stopped caring" She said, the tear now running down her cheek "You're special to me" She finished

"Nomine is a male" Arashikage pointed out "He's a xenomorph, my kind really doesn't like his kind but we get along fine." He said

"I understand" Aria said, wiping away her tear and turning toward the stairs again

"Oh? Well, I guess its hard to concern the gender of another race like that...." He said. "Your kind don't like them? Why's that?"

"Well I guess we got pissed at them sending giant bugs to chew on our faces and have their babies rip out of our chests" Arashikage said

"I understand" Aria said, wiping away her tear and turning toward the stairs again

"Thank you..." Flux  responded, returning back to the lobby. Even though it was hard to even be there, his room was a lot worse. He was not sure what to do about anything anymore.
