The Lylat Luxury Hotel: Part 4

[Ris Grestar]

Flux wrapped his arms around Cel. He too was unsure what to say, but felt he needed to say something none the less. "I also feel I deserve one question answered." he asked softly, taking a breath before asking.  "After that night, you never directly said 'I love you'... Do you still love me?"

Cel took a deep breath, too, before pulling away, his hands on Flux's shoulders as he looked into the wolf's eyes.  "I do...I still love you."

'That's why all of this has been so hard...'

Max had fallen back into a light sleep.  His cigar was still in his mouth, and he snored gently, laying back in his chair behind the display cases and desk.

"Shit, not now!", Sasha exclaimed as she took off into a run.  Sirens could be heard in the immediate area, and she had little time to get out.  She began to sprint quickly through backyards, hopping fences and vaulting walls when necessary.  She wouldn't be caught again.

Arashikage steps into the firing range, his TAR slung over his shoulder, he steps up to the desk "You got any 5.56 ammo here?" He asked

The elevator doors open to the lobby and Bri steps out

Cel took a deep breath, too, before pulling away, his hands on Flux's shoulders as he looked into the wolf's eyes.  "I do...I still love you."

Flux, this time much more under control, "What am I supposed to do then? I can't get over this, even with medicine..." He said while pulling out 3 different bottles of different types of mood pills.

"Of course, we have most everything you're looking for", Max replied, opening up another display case and handing him a box of the requested ammunition.

"Thanks" Arashikage said, taking the box of ammo, paying for it, and stepping into the range to try a lefty grip on his TAR

He hugged Cel, dropping the pills. "I accidentally took too much the first couple times, but I am not purposefully hurting myself."

"Almost home free", Sasha thought while continuing to run.  The sirens drew closer and closer, and she began to see flashing lights around the perimeter of the area.  "Just a little more time......"

"Cel?" Bri asked, now running to his side

Nomine watch interested as the flashing lights closed in on the new comer to the hotel. "damn, she got caught rather quickly" he thought to himself as he slowly crawled down the side of the Hotel

"might as well help her, good for a laugh or two"

He hugged Cel, dropping the pills. "I accidentally took too much the first couple times, but I am not purposefully hurting myself."

The tiger's ears perked up as Bri made her entrance, stifling a sigh as he returned Flux's hug.  "Just a sec, Bri..."

His attention returning to the wolf, Cel quietly said, "Good...Just believe in yourself for me, 'kay?"

"What's going on here?" She asked, trying to hide her concern as much as possible

The tiger's ears perked up as Bri made her entrance, stifling a sigh as he returned Flux's hug.  "Just a sec, Bri..."

His attention returning to the wolf, Cel quietly said, "Good...Just believe in yourself for me, 'kay?"

He saw Bri come in and he dropped the hug instantly. Flux sighed. "Well... I guess the main thing I wanted to say was that I'm leaving. You know my feelings for you, Cel. It's hard to see them not be returned. I don't know when or if I will return."

"Damn....too late", Sasha thought as she noticed a small convoy of patrol cars closing in on her position.  She continued to run, hoping in vain to find some way to outpace her pursuers.

Arashikage finishes up with his TAR, disgusted at his lack of ability to fire lefty.  He figured if he comes back later and keeps practicing, he would get better, but he felt something wrong so he headed out for the lobby

"What's going on here?" She asked, trying to hide her concern as much as possible

"Just...hold on Bri..." Cel told her with a sigh, his eyes remaining on Flux--though his ears drooped slightly.  Instead, he held out his hand toward the wolf, hoping he would accept the friendly shake.  "Well, if I don't get to see you again...I'm still glad I met you."

Flux slowly lifted his hand and shook Cel's. He wanted to say more, but knew Bri would lose it if he continued saying what he planned. A tear simply dropped, sad this fate was actually coming true.

"No particular reason!", Sasha managed to blurt out before stepping up her pace.  The three patrol cars were closing in much faster now, one of them turned down another street in attempt to head off the two.

Arashikage walks to the lobby, TAR still on his shoulder, he sees the lights and thinks the worst, he decides to walk out front and see what's going on

Flux slowly lifted his hand and shook Cel's. He wanted to say more, but knew Bri would lose it if he continued saying what he planned. A tear simply dropped, sad this fate was actually coming true.

After another few quiet moments, Cel released his grip, his hand returning to his side.  He tried to smile at the wolf, but it was weak, accentuating the sad glimmer in his eyes.  "Until next time..."

He couldn't bring himself to say goodbye.

After another few quiet moments, Cel released his grip, his hand returning to his side.  He tried to smile at the wolf, but it was weak, accentuating the sad glimmer in his eyes.  "Until next time..."

He couldn't bring himself to say goodbye.

Bri remains silent, realizing that this was Flux that he was talking to.  She just stands there and doesn't say a word
