The Lylat Luxury Hotel: Part 4

"Heh, might not want to pet her if you are going to go eat too." Flux said, being the cleanly person he was.

Growling at the insult, she rubbed agains Ris, Begging for him to pet her.

The Arctic Fox couldn't help but grin when Barca rubbed up against him, setting his hand on her neck and stroking it up and down.  "Nahhh, I think I'll good."  Though not wanting the wolf to be offended, he offered him a grateful nod before turning his gaze back to the surprisingly friendly dinosaur.  "What's your name?"  After a few seconds, Ris' ear twitched in realization, again glancing up at Flux.  "Um, both of yours."

"Might not've been long, but still..."  Closing her eyes, Airi scooted closer and nuzzle against the hybrid's shoulder, wrapping her arms around one of Sarah's.  "I still missed you..."

'And...And Sarah?  Could we talk later?'

"I missed you to Sweety..." She said softly slipping her arm out of her grasp so she could use the same one to wrap around around Airi's shoulders and bring her even closer...

'Of course honey, When we're done here I'll take you downstair's and we can have some time to ourself's... Alright?'

'Alright...Thanks, Sarah...'  Airi was glad she could trust the hybrid so much.  She felt like she loved Sarah like a sister--a motherly sister.  And it really seemed like Sarah loved her, too.  She loved the closeness and security of it all, knowing she had someone she could count on.

Flux threw out a fake chuckle as he turned and continued to the dining hall. He wasn't sure if this would be someone to be friends yet, so allowed if he wanted to join him, he would speak up.

With her this close, she began to blush. But this time, she really didn't care what anyone else thought...

"Im Guessing you 2 spent the Night together again?" She asked chuckling a bit, seeing Gin in a good mood Around Ray...

"Mom didn't tell me what's up with Scott?" Kari asked.

With a sheepish grin, his blue eyes still showing his rather fond feelings towards the pet, Ris managed, "Girl?  Can I go eat now?"

With her this close, she began to blush. But this time, she really didn't care what anyone else thought...

Ignoring the light blush that crossed his face, Gin wore a sincere smile on his muzzle as he nodded.

With a sheepish grin, his blue eyes still showing his rather fond feelings towards the pet, Ris managed, "Girl?  Can I go eat now?"

Ignoring the light blush that crossed his face, Gin wore a sincere smile on his muzzle as he nodded.

Eyes wide and stature cheerfull, barca jogged away from, Ris, running into a wall, and cracking her head against a window. Snarling deeply, she continued her way to try and find the stairs

Glad that he had come off on good terms with Barca, still finding the whole situation amusing, the blue-furred vulpine slid his hands into his pockets and headed off again to eat.  His tail swished slowly behind him, his ears perked for the various sounds of life in the hotel.

'Huh...Wonder if they're still serving those muffins...'

Entering the dining hall, Ris stopped and slowly scanned the room, his eyes coming upon the wolf from just a few moments before.  He was puzzled, not sure what could have made Flux so upset in such a small amount of time.  Figuring it was worth checking out, Ris made his way toward him.  "Hey," he began, stopping beside Flux's table, "you all right?"

"Mom didn't tell me what's up with Scott?" Kari asked.

"Well... My brother's got alot on his plate right now. There was another attempt from a bounty hunter to try and take his life, And Anne Is Sick with a Rare Illness... Him, Anne, and your mother are Back in the medical frighter a couple of blocks away from here. doing a few tests to see how bad it is..."

Both Gin's and Airi's ears shot straight up, whatever smiles they were wearing disappearing.  "Wait, Anne's sick?!"

Entering the dining hall, Ris stopped and slowly scanned the room, his eyes coming upon the wolf from just a few moments before.  He was puzzled, not sure what could have made Flux so upset in such a small amount of time.  Figuring it was worth checking out, Ris made his way toward him.  "Hey," he began, stopping beside Flux's table, "you all right?"

Flux looked up at him, slowly changing his mood as to not worry the vulpine. "Uh, yeah. Just forgot to go to the bank is all." He said with a small chuckle, even though he truly was very low on cash.

Balsa gazed out towards the rest of the city, brimming with life and liberty. Slowly, she took her hat off. Her eyes brimming with tears, she knelt, her glaive out in front of her, shimmering in the evening sun. next to her, nomine too knelt, offering his subservance to this day.

Barca stopped where she was. The negative outlook in the air effecting her. In the staircase, she held her on greif to her self.

Hoisting her pipes, Balsa began to play. For the lost. For the forgotten. And for the day. Nomine lay his head on the ground.

From around the city, hundreds of pipes too began to play. And play they did. The entire planet could almost here the playing of the pipes.

They would never forget.
