LoneWolf
Er, most of the yiff art on there should have the mature content enabled. Unless you have it off by default (by me, I don't mind! ) you are going to see mature content.Well, yeah, that's EXTREME yiff, but I was talking about the lesser stuff. Low-level yiff is still yiff IMO.
TheRedFox8
What do you mean by "Low-level" yiff? A bare-chested female or something?
"User"
BACK ON TOPIC BEFORE THIS BECOMES A FLAME WAR OF FURRY vs. RELIGION! Yeah, we don't want that. On topic: You know what, if you want to know why furries are looked down upon, look no further than anthro on Deviantart. A whole lot of stuff is REALLY yiff on there I'd like to think of it more as just nudity involving anthros. When most furries think of yiff they think of sexual acts, something that isn't allowed on DA. Most furry nudity on DA is more R rated then something NC-17 rated like what FA mainly consists of. There is some good, clean stuff on there, it's just really, REALLY hard to find I found the best way to get clean furry art is to search the same sites but turn the mature filters on. Furthermore there are some furry art sites (won't list them here) that are pretty much entirely yiff and should be avoided at all costs by those looking for more tasteful stuff. What do you mean by "Low-level" yiff? A bare-chested female or something?Low-level as in R rated maybe?
StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
There shouldn't really be a problem with someone coming to a realization that they are a furry. The way I see it, the only real reason someone should feel a bit uneasy about telling someone they are a furry, and explaining it properly to them, would be because they do not want to be confused with another group of people who involve themselves with animals. (honestly, I can't think of a way to describe them without going overboard with it)
Hatsworth III
well, for me the furry yiff is art till a certain point, when it crosses the bridge of mature content to extreme mature content, mostly it comes to be something reallly disgusting. for me at least. Kid_Cortet
Well, when you tell your mom/dad that you're gay, your mom is probably a lot more accepting due to the fact that, have you ever noticed that gay people hang out with girls A LOT MORE, and guys are REALLY uncomfortable around gay men?Well, that's why I'm a christian, I'm not gay now and I don't plan to be. EVER.just to answer real quick......my dada is my adoptive dad.....he is a wolf/rottweiler mix xD
LoneWolf
What do you mean by "Low-level" yiff? A bare-chested female or something?Well, look at it this way. In the eyes of a non furry it looks like a furred humanoid with boobs. This being my point, from a non furry perspective, it's just furry pron. This is where we get our bad name. TheRedFox8
I agree. Most people who disapprove of our likings tend to point toward the Yiff side first, as if we worship the stuff.I like Yiff. I admit it. Though I don't spend hours pouring over it, "pawing off" and whatnot. I'm not the stereotypical sort, and I bear a disliking toward those who do that give us a bad name. FoxMcCloud
Same here, I was talking to my friends about it, and they seem to understand. I told them there are many different levels and stages. That seemed to help them understand what it was all about
LoneWolf
where i live no one knows what a furry isLucky. I look back on last year, I had no clue what a furry was, and yet was inadvertently being one, talking about anthros freely and such
Milkyway64
Relevent to this topic, my closest RL friends are now involved in a forum RP I made. Said RP is going to not be necessarily furry, but knowing what they know and having the mere INCLUSION of an anthro character could raise eyebrows. Why I agreed to this, I'll never know.
