Fluxy
I mainly looked up to my sister. My family was very poor growing up as a kid, and my mom was the same way she is now. I could list others, but she is the one that stands out the most.

Fluxy
Well, you put role model, so eh. : /. I didn't have any fictional ones. At that age, I didn't even consider Fox one. I just really liked the game.

Dublinthefox
The only role model besides my parents that I used to look up to was my high school video production and graphic arts teacher. His name was Christian Aanestad. I salute to you my master!!!

Kid_Cortet
i must admit, mine is a character (well....a few from) the show Babylon 5.....characters name is John Sheridan. He is able to stand up for what he believes in no matter what a higher power tells him. He goes up against the Vorlons (a race so old and powerful they can obliterate an entire planet)...he does this even though at the same time they were supposed to be allies. then he goes against the Earth Government because the president basically became a dictator and no one else could see it. He fought for honor with honor, no matter how badly ISN (InterSteller News) showed him to be a loose canon. Now I know he is a fictional character....it is just something that has me in "ah" every time I think about it

Redeemer
Believe it or not, I took sanctuary in Final Fantasy 8. I learned to be independent from Squall. I was bullied alot in school for being a redhead (a very unpopular hair colour here, ironically enough) and I found that being alone was easier than hanging out with a group of girls that talked about me behind my back and wrote letters to each other in class while deliberately leaving me out.Once I left home for Uni when I was 17, I stopped looking up to people and characters, and became the monstrosity you know today. :P

I mean, looking back and playing it now, at the age of 21, I can safely say he's an emo wimp, but I did learn from him. I gained thicker skin, so to speak. Sabre
I never understood this whole idea of basing your life on someone elses. If that was the case we'd still be hitting each other with sticks.

Sabre
Quote The opposite is true too. Without learning from others, past or present, we'd still be hitting each other with sticks. Not really. You build on the work of your predersessor. For example, my dad was a mechanic, I went into computers, let's assume everyone went into cars instead of computing. We wouldn't be talking now, and car advancement would slow. That's my point.
