HA ! Fredric Barbarossa had the largest crusader army ever assembled. 100,000 men saldin army consisted of quite a bit less. But Even better then saldin Is The Cid.

I see you guys enjoy Age of Empires II :P

i used to play that game till i got into sega's total war games.

Richard had to retreat after he got sick in the middle east. and Fredric had very much character fighting the Italian states. and then forming the most powerful army in  Europe. After he died the roman empire became a shadow of it's former glory. BUT THE GREATEST COMMANDER AND LEADER OF ALL TIME WAS HANNIBLE BARKER. the military genius that defeated some of Rome's greatest army's with his far less supear force

Richard had to retreat, and? He formed an admirable bond between him and Salah ad-Din without ever actually SEEING THE MAN. As far as being a human being goes, Richard beats out Barbarossa in my book.

And there is no "greatest leader of all time".

Well...i'd say mine would obviously be  :fox:  :lol: and Indiana Jones because they both have courage, bravery good leadership skills and seem to pull through when things look bleak. I kinda wish i was like that sometimes...

My hero is my Uncle Jay. I wrote a paper on him in my English 3 class and I think I got a good grade :)
