I got the whole you're a terrible person, you're on drugs, i'm disappointed in you. She even said the fact i have a beard and wear a chain means i'm on drugs. Ahhhh i love close minded people.

Honey, don't even get me started. I had MAJOR relationship issues with my dad. Put it this way, he's very, very old fashioned, and I'm... well, I have 11 piercings and 3 tattooes. Please note, most of my piercings are in my ears. I have 10 in my ears (4 in each lobe and a scaffolding bar in the top of my right ear, which is actually 2 piercings), and I have my lip pierced. This, according to him, made me the female anti-christ. Not the exact words he used but he treated in such a way that I thought I had done something horribly, horribly wrong to him.

Alas, the fourm is not a place for me to tell you my daft sob stories. Sylum, if you need to talk about this, I'll gladly chat via PM. I can relate in so many ways. :)

Speaking of parents, I remember seeing the first picture of my dad when he was in his 20's with really long hair...completely unheard of for me.

Track marks. That's slang for the scars needles leave. Sounds like hes diabetic or something. Fun fact, prostitutes use their toes for this reason.

My dad is a biker, tattoos and the like, and so are most of his friends. As a result it's always weird to me when people are scared of bike gangs in fiction because I see a friendly bunch of guys who would only get mad if you touched their machines.

True.  The media tries to demonize the Hell's Angel's, the Mongols, and more, but I've met some of these guys, and they're actually quite nice.  At least they were nice to me...

I love my long hair. Just give it a quick run through with my fingers and BAM, done for the day. Was also great for hiding my headphones when I wasn't allowed to listen to music in class. Didn't interfere with my schooling, actually aided it.

Lol, i know what you mean on the annoying bit I hated having long hair, but i did it for awhile bc thats just how all the other girls had it. Then one summer, I had it chopped off, so it went from hanging around my shoulders to basically a buzzcut. So freeing! Then i started swimming and judo, where you NEED to have your hair out of your face (in judo, girls are really vicious, and they've been known to throw another person by their pony-tail if they can get ahold of it. Suffice to say, its probably better if you don't have one ) and i pretty much decided that i would never have long hair again.

Of course, i had to suffer through an entire year of all the girls in the school telling me i looked like a boy (i had also started wearing stereotypical "boy" colours, because the clothes were more comfortable, so that didnt help.) That was in middle school. After I started highschool, my short hair has signalled to most of the school that i MUST be a lesbian. The fact that I had a boyfriend did not deter them in their thinking.

Wow, thats really strange  when my brother went into highschool, he grew his hair long, and my mom just went "meh." And my dad had nothing to say about it, bc he had long hair and a full beard when he was that age XD

Yeah! I remember when I got my hair cut off, it went from being half way down my back to being pixie-short. I loved it, sent a picture to my mum, she loved it. My dad? He said preferred my long hair lolz.

I'm growing my hair again, simply because I miss it. :3

I love long hair in fiction. Theres a game called Surge Hive, the woman in it has the longest pony tail ever. It looks cool, but the inpractical nature of it is a let down.
