What's your favorite type of drink?

Lemonade. :P

In other words, I don't drink alcohol regularly enough to have a favorite drink. Though out of what I have tried, warm sake and Jagermeister were probably the least offensive. XD

I'm partial to Cuba libres for mixed drinks and tequilas and Jager bombs when it comes down to shots.

I'm not as much of a fan as beer or wine, although Coors Light is my preferred beer - 2nd would be Corona

The only alcoholic drink I find even remotely drinkable is good o'l mead. The sweet, but strong beer drunk by the vikings. We do brew a little of it ourself.

Still, I usually do think it's a lot better with a glass of good water, milk or apple juice.

They're all my favorites.  :P

But I believe my #1 all time favorite is Jim Beam Bourbon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Beam

I love rum. A nice, sweet flavoured rum.

Rum's...okay, but not for me.

I also enjoy Tsing Tao and Asahi beers, but I don't care for Corona or Rolling Rock (not since Anheuser-Busch ruined the formula/flavor)

That's fair enough, but I had something a couple of weeks ago that would make you're heart leap. It was rum, oh yes it was rum, but it was the magical Spanish rum that tasted like maple syrup. Exactly like maple syrup. Only it was easier to drink. Needless to say, I was off my feet within the half hour.

Though it's not legal for me to drink, due to some redneck upbringing, I've had drinks before. Apparently, as a baby, I'd steal my dad's Jack & coke if he set it down for even a moment. As for now, though, I'm partial to screwdrivers, with two shots of vodka. Haven't had the experience of getting drunk yet, though, as I only drink when I'm working out in the yard, because the blood thinning properties of alcohol make it easier for me to cool down. I also love my mom's margaritas, as she got the formula for Chili's El Presidente margarita.

I remember tasting Chinese Tsing Tao beer, very good.  From what I heard, China used to have sucky beers, but the Europeans who visited them, especially the brewmeisters, helped China make better beers, teaching them European brewing techniques.  Tsing Tao beer is one of the most notable Chinese Beers to have European Brewing techniques/influences.

I tried some Italian Moscato Champagne yesterday... that was one of the most (if not the most) delicious white anythings I've ever had. Highly recommend it.

Here's a few things to try. I grabbed this from Mechcorps(dot)com. Don't worry. I work for the guys.

Anyway, one of them was going through the old battletech literature and found some....interesting.....concoctions.

PPC - standard drink for Solaris mechwarriors. Mixed by House affiliation. 4 shots of grain alcohol (everclear, vodka, whatever) plus two shots of the following:

* Bourbon (Davion)

* Tequila (Capellan March)

* Peppermint Schnapps (Steiner)

* Sake (Kurita)

* Ouzo (Marik)

* Plum wine (Liao)

Optionally, you can substitute blue curacao for one of the grain alcohol shots to make it appropriately colored.

Clan/other Options (not sure how genuine):

* Apple Pucker (Jade Falcon)

* Goldschlager (Wolf)

* Jagermeister (Ghost Bear)

* Scotch (Northwind Highlanders)

ER PPC - double up PPC with club soda.

Fusionnaire - Clan freebirth favorite

* 3 oz vodka

* 1.5 oz peppermint schnapps

* 1.5 oz lemonade schnapps

* 1.5 oz rum

* 4.5 oz lemon juice

*Serve on the rocks.

Autocannon

1 shot of Bourbon

1/2 shot of Scotch

1/2 shot of Vodka

1 teaspoonful of Brown Sugar

1 shot of Lemon Juice

Gauss Rifle

1 & 1/2 shots of Light Rum

1 shot of Dark Rum

1/2 shot of Grenadine

1/2 shot of Triple Sec

For fun, drop a couple little silver dragees (cake ornamentation) in to look like ammo.

Flamer - Muerte Challenge?

1 shot of Cinnamon Schnapps

3 drops of Tabasco Sauce

Add ingredients to a shot glass and stir.

Lasers for all Lasers, to make ER version, double up with club soda.

Large Laser

3 shots of Stoli (it has to be Stoli or some other high-quality vodka)

1 shot of Goldschlager

Pour into an old-fashioned or rocks glass and add ice.

Medium Laser

1 shot of Gin

splash of Scotch

Serve in a chilled cocktail glass.

Small Laser - aka Buttery Nipple.

1/2 shot of Irish Creme

1/2 shot of Buttershots

LRM Rack

1 shot of Goldschlager

1 shot of Scotch

1 shot of Chambord or Black Razberry

SRM Rack

1 shot of Sambucca

1 shot of Ameretto

1 shot of Goldschlager

Inferno SRM Rack

As above - add either 2 coffee beans, or 1/2 shot of Kahlua. Burn in glass before drinking.

The PPC: Will. Hit. Hard.
