I didn't have cable TV until about a year and half ago, wow that would make my list different from your guys'.

Two shows that are definitive of my childhood that stick out in my mind though are Punky Brewster and Small Wonder. Never heard of 'em? Yeah, I know...but they are like the quintessential shows for me and my siblings.

Other notable shows from my youth-

Who's the Boss

Full House

Perfect Strangers

Boy Meets World

Animaniacs

Simpsons

Married With Children

Super Mario Bros. Super Show (with Zelda Fridays!)

Unsolved Mysteries

Rescue 911

Duck Tales

Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers

Tiny Toons

Muppet Babies

Gumby

My Little Pony & Friends

Oh, and I can't forget ALF, the show that had the depressingly traumatizing cliffhanger conclusion. The series ended with ALF being surrounded by the government and about to be captured before his spaceship could rescue him. I tuned in for weeks to see if ALF got rescued, but he never did! I was so sad...

I loved Gumby when I was little. I do like Married With Children, that was pretty good. I've watched a lot of Full House when I was younger, but I don't watch it any more, just lost interest.

These are among my favorite cartoons, most of them I caught when they first came out in their respective years...when cartoons were actually good. :P

Inspector Gadget (1983)

Ducktales (1987)

Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers (1989)

Talespin (1990)

Darkwing Duck (1991)

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993)

Rugrats (1991)

Animanaics (1993)

I have another 2 or 3 dozen T.V. shows that I enjoyed watching when I was a kid (cartoons or not) but I'm too tired to remember them all - I might have missed a few favorite cartoons as well.
