DZComposer
Well, part of that was we lost the old domain. We have it back now, but it took several years.
Guest Julius Quasar
1. Let's not criticize how other sites are run. I don't like it when people play that game with us, so we won't do it to anyone else.2. Sometimes upgrading stuff requires bringing down the original. Code sometimes depends on absolute URLs and such, so moving things into an "OLD" folder on a server is not always worth doing.3. Any future site changes at SFO will be done in whatever means is required. If that means shuttering the site for a while, so be it. Though I'm the type of guy who likes to build things in a test environment first so I don't have to take my service down for weeks. But I can't promise that that won't happen. It's entirely situational.I wasn't trying to criticize, I was just curious/confused as to what happened to AL.
DZComposer
I was referring to the people complaining about Stealth taking the site down for the upgrade.
"User"
I was referring to the people complaining about Stealth taking the site down for the upgrade. For the record I wasn't complaining per se about the site going down as much as I was just....bewildered by the way he went about doing things - especially considering what the site is based off on. A basic forum admin concept regarding etiquette involves NOT leaving your fan base in the dark for long periods of time, especially when they ask questions. In the end though, it's his site and he can do what he wants.
Ellipzocore
If anything, if Stealth wanted positive remarks on all of the website, forums and everything, then this wouldn't be an issue right?
Mr. Krystal
...the site is finally being refitted with all of the latest and greatest bells and whistles that the interweb has to offer. Some of the planned new features include: integration between the main website and the forum and galleries for increased user interactivity; revamped webpages including dynamic hyperlinks and lightbox images that keep you from leaving the page you are reading; a new blog-based news system that will support user comments and, ideally, cross-link with the forum. That feature-list sounds awfully familiar. :P

LoneWolf
I have a feeling that arwing landing divided by zero. I'm not right, but it's a start. :)Nah, the site owner is probably just upgrading all the scripts and such. The site was a bit outdated.
