I am still a fan of the Pokemon series.

My faves are Squirtle, Sceptile, Taillow, Lucario, Flygon, Steelix, and Machop

As for legendaries:

Lugia, Suicine, Rayquaza, Groudon, Dialga, Darkrai, and Reshiram, and the Regi-series.

I never include legendaries, because that is never how my friends and I ever played, but here.

Espeon and Umbreon (Start out for the double team.)

Remaining four,

-Garchomp (Ace in the whole! OMFG my so broken as hell in a legal way!)

-Alakasam. (Nobody ever expects to see thunder wave from it. Holy crap is it affective. :))

-(Insert Fire type)

-(Insert ***)

The four are always in there, no questions asked. Never have they failed me in any way. Then I sometimes use a fire type, but depending what friend I go against, I will switch the two "inserts" to fit the occasion.

Oh! We also only did double battles to make it more interesting and less one noted. :P lol

I only was seriously interested in the original red/blue games when they first came out.  Since Psychic pokemon were incredibility overpowered my team consisted of six level 100 Alakazams :P

And damn, did that take a long time to do.

i know, since you could NEVER rebattle trainers like you can in later games....only the Elite Four....so I know the Challenge (I could only get 1 to level 100 without the duplication code) lol

but wow......that is an amazment.....6 Alakazams.....damn dude

I'm loving the fluidity of the movements. They didn't pull a Diamond and Pearl on us.

In any case, I have been playing pokemon SINCE the originals, and have yet to find a reason not to like it. Some people complain about the art, others complain about too many legendaries. To be honest, I couldn't care less. Like Starfox, I'm a diehard fan and will stick with the series until its very last breath, or mine, whichever comes first.

I am definitely excited for some of the new pokemon in Black and White. The legendaries are badass, as are Zorua and Zoroark. I also really like Meguroko, Shimama, Kibago, Ononosuku and Wooguru. And my starter for those games will be based off of final evolutions, but for now, Tsutaja.

Charizard

Just for that, you win an internet from meh. Charizard's my favorite pokemon, and I have trained at least twenty of them in the past year.

Charmander was my first pokemon EVER.....back when i first got BLUE....and since i knew nothing of pokemon...i had a Charizard after the second gym lol

I love the one I have now......breed a female with a male Garchomp.....now the baby knows Crunch and Dragon Rush....now if only I could get it Shiny with those moves and then it'll REALLY be like a Dragon lol

I have a shiny Charizard. In fact, I received a shiny female Charmander as my starter in Firered. Sadly I lost it after losing my Emerald version, seeing how I traded it over. That Charizard was level 100 and one of my only EV trained pokemon. I got really lucky with its special attack stat, it had reached more than 400. No hacks, not a thing of the sort. But after all these years, I have yet to have another pokemon reach 400 in any one stat. Which goes to show just how lucky that was.

I managed to get another Shiny Female Charmander no less than three days ago.

The thing is though, Cyndaquil was my very first pokemon. I didn't come to own my first generation one game until late in 2000. But I did borrow Red version from my cousin in 1998, and he let me start a new game. I did choose Charmander there. But the show is what I really started with, I watched it on the American premier date, and back then, reptiles were the most awesome things ever to me. So instantly, I liked Charmander and it's evolutions the best of any. I even had a Holo Charizard card some years ago, but some a-hole stole it from me. But to my luck, I happened to come across one at a fair one year. I snatched it up before anyone else could. Cost me five bucks, good investment on my part.  :D

Anyways, I do indeed like the moves Dragon Rush and Crunch, but alas, they are physical moves, and do not work well with a special sweeper Charizard. Dragon Pulse and Air Slash are my preferred moves. So instead, I save the other two moves for my Garchomp.

the episode i started with was the introduction to Jigglypuff. i liked the show and started to watch it.....until eventually my friend gave me a copy of the game he found in the RAIN....he didn't have a gameboy at the time so he gave it to me. I chose Charmander actually out of a random choice..but mainly cause i did think it looked cool.....I pushed that guy hard though....being the only pokemon i really trained. later i swore to have a charizard on my battle ready team (pretty much a team i create for friend to friend battles...that is not my main team) but at any chance i train one. I also trained a jigglypuff when i remembered the show......trained it to lvl 40.........i didnt know it evolved through moon stone lol ><

I picked Squirtle for the 1st gen starters, Cyndaquil for the Gen 2 starters, Treecko for the Gen 3 starters, and Chimchar for the Gen 4 starters.

And yeah having the original green version would have been great.

(for everyone: I have a pokemon diamond ds file, if anyone wants..)
