i also liked the second because would could CHANGE your partner pokemon and not stuck with only one....but i still like to keep my Munchlax with me a lot more then anything else :)

I defeated Veilstone Gym with a new strategy that [i think] I was the first one to use:

Pokemon: Staravia, Bronzor, and Kadabra

I used Staravia's Wing Attack/Aerial Ace for Maylene's Machoke and Meditite, then, before she switches to Lucario, I send in Kadabra. After Lucario uses Drain Punch, I used disable. I Send in Bronzor, use hypnosis, then finish him off with a load of Wing Attacks and Aerial Aces. Or, alternatively, let Staravia get 1 hp, then use hypnosis, then switch back, use endeavor, then one-hit him with any attack.

wow....that is great, that gives you what....3 badges? and second...i remember I did not find out that Flying types had the advantage over Fighting types until the third season xD

I like Penguins in real life, plus Blizzard, Sheer Cold and Waterfall ought to knock out almost any pokemon (excluding legendaries) when he's fully evolved and leveled.

Plus, I never tried a water-type starter for years (pikachu, cyndaquil, and treecko are my prev. starters..)

oh lol....i left mine to chance.....since i collect the TCG, i decided to make my choice based on what card of any of the evolution (Ex: Piplup, Prinplup, Empoleon...and same for the other two) and that would have been my choice in the game when i got it....and it was Piplup....only to turn a few more cards to find Empoleon lol......

lol yeah I also have about two-decks worth of TCG pokemon...

The only difference is that you don't have to bring them to the pokemon center and you don't have to buy pokeballs to catch them. :trollface:

HM is Surf....i find it to be a very handy water attack in battle.....especially in a double battle when your teammate can heal

TM is ThunderBolt......cause it has always come to my aide when i needed it to....more then Thunder

i dunno....in movie spectrum i have only seen the first four (I consider Mewtwo Returns to be the fourth movie....NOT 4 ever....)

but in retrospect......I think the Epic battle between Arceus and Giratina would be awesome.......God vs Satan xD

you mean Mewtwo vs Arceus was part of a fan fic i was trying to write....the main line Mewtwo would say to Arceus would be "You know....i have always wanted to know why I was created.....and what better being to ask then the Creator itself?"

Ah, Pokemon.

The greatest hand-held RPG of all time ((Besides FF but that was a port!)).

I remember that day on christmas morning, Opening up my presents to find a Gameboy Color (Green!) and Pokemon Yellow... I directly remember saying to my brother right after the game had started "How do i get out of this house?". From that day and for atleast another 5 months I was HOOKED on pokemon yellow! My dad did alot of business traveling, Bringing me and my brother home pokemon paraphanellia from all over the world... We had everything from japanese trading cards to plushies/Backpacks/Pokedex's (Yeah I litterally had a pokedex that WORKED!). I played pokemon all throughout the lower grades of school, Even making a prophet from pokemon gold/silver... I would level up typhlosions/Feraligatrs and more and do the clone glitch/error where you would go to a pokecentre, on the computer change boxes for the pokemon storage so it saved, then deposited the pokemon in the new box, changed back to the old box and as it said "Dont turn off the power! saving!" I turned off my gameboy only to restart it to have one pokemon in my inventory and the same one in the computer.... I must have made a good $100 from selling level 80s....

Its amazing how like 12-13 years later pokemon is still going strong... I can only hope for when i finally have a kid, i can pass down to him my foil mew-two and mew cards only for him to trade them for a mudkip... T_T
