DUN DUN DUUUUUUNNNNNNNN!

I only wore it once to an anime convention. They were selling them.

Fursuits actually kinda creep me out.  Don't know why, they just do.  Maybe it's the eyes...

I know, they look too cartoony.

Same here. I think it has to do with that childhood nightmares of clowns.

Or maybe it's because most people would find it strange to wear them because of what others would think.

Now imagine said furries in fursuits potentially having all sorts of sexual fetishes.  When I see them at conventions they kind of scare me as well.

I just can't stand being in a fursuit mainly because I am claustrophobic. =[ I honestly don't know if I would wear one if I wasn't though. Some do look cool, but a lot look just plain cartoony. =/ *shrug*

On that note, eh. I could care less about people having those "weird" fetishes. If they were to tell me, it wouldn't bother me. What would make me uncomfortable, is if they over dramatized it and started moaning, or giggling in public -because- they are in the suit. That is one of those cases, to me at least, that if they can make it pleasurable to them, but not make it creepy in public and such, it is all good. Because even people, with "normal" fetishes can be really creepy about them to others, and then it would just be a case of the "Pot calling the kettle black".

Plus, I stopped taking the stairs in hotels when I heard of a certain incident involving a dragon... Come on dragons! Step it up! [/pun]

Yeah, this is more what I meant.  I know many people who in real life who have some weird fetishes and it doesn't bother me either but when they start doing it at the con or in the hotel I'm like "seriously people, get a room. >_>"

^^^(emeroroflylat) Well that makes one...

Really, like others already said, it basically comes down to how they act in public.

Hmmm....

Your best friend tells you that they can't stand the furry fandom. What do you do?

Just say you like how anthro's look. Say you think they are cool, and be done with it. If they -truly- don't except you for that little fact, then he/she is definitely someone who is that close to you, or accepting of their friends likes/dislikes. =/

I've told my friends that I'm a furry and they didn't think it was weird at all.

I don't know anyone in my town that's a furry, so I keep my fandom in the closet. Besides, I doubt I could go up to anyone and ask, "Hey, do you like human-looking foxes?" and not expect a weird look...
